same reason why people would get Galaxy s 5 than Note 3. Most customers think newer = better. |

Vlad from the Verge said LG is marketing the flex 2 a higher end phone, so will be more expensive than the G3/4, ie it will be a niche product, which the the first flex was as well. |

Correct me if I'm wrong but theverge and other sites having their hands on the Flex say that it comes either with 2 or 3GB of RAM depending on internal memory. So why would you choose the G3 instead of this? Newest power efficient 64Bit soc along with 1080p oled screen should mean superb battery life. |

With the G Flex 2 I think it's safe to say then that the Z4 will have the SD810 (fingers crossed) along with at least 3GB add 32GB of internal memory, S-Master digital amp and the IMX230 sensor all bundled in a high quality waterproof shell with a new UI and that's me sold. Only 8 weeks till MWC so leaks should start popping up soon just to whet our appetite.
@JonnyNr.5 GSM Arena state only 2GB of RAM regardless of the internal memory, someone, somewhere has the wrong info guess we'll just have to wait and see.
EDIT- GSM Arena have just updated their spec page showing the 32GB does indeed have 3GB of RAM.

the leaks picture from the Sony pictures hack look good, what we really concern is the internal. LG seems to have found their 2 flagship/high end per year cycle with Flex and regular G line up like Galaxy and Galaxy note series, although flex is very niche but people won't be complaining a 6 months cycle from those companies since their devices are different enough. Sony has yet have any beside Z ultra which they seems to have given up on. |

I have a feeling...
most other manufacturers are still using 3GB for their devices... so I wondering if Sony will for sure have a 4GB Z4... one of these rumours mentioned that the RAM 3GB is TBD...

One thing they may show at CES later on is an update to Project Morpheus, I'm very excited about this tech and I'm hoping they'll announce you can mirror your screen from your Xperia smartphone to the headset via wifi direct or something similar. Imagine watching a movie on a long flight or even using yourself as Pegman in Google Maps/Earth how cool would that be.

Flex2 seems like a competitive device as of now but it's a niche gimmicky device that is safe to say not many people are seriously considering paying a premium price for when in 2 months time basically all the top brand manufacturers are going to announce their main flags INCLUDING lg. the reason for this announcement is bragging rights to be the first device with s810 and collect some ces award, it makes it's bells and whistles heard, lg has great marketing and wide availability in carriers unlike sony. mission accomplished.
on a relevant news, this confirms that z4 will have s810.

it only confirmed that their is no production problem for S810, you never know if Sony going to nickel and dim the z4 to save a few bucks which is completely retarded. They get a free pass for s801 in Z3 since s805 isn't a huge difference from s801 but if s810 is like a new gen. You would think by now that selling more devices at a small profit margin in large volume is much better than higher profit margin and selling nothing then having to slash price months later selling everything at a lost and posting red every quarter. This new boss better learn something from Xiaomi. |

Looks pretty good, a bit more formal than the rubber version.

Now looks more premium and competitive, but my favourite is still the moto360.

stainless steel is probably the new material they are going to use for their phones too |

Looks a bit on the heavy side but it's good that you can take the core out and choose another strap.

So until now we have the world's first S810 running smartphone (LG), the world thinnest smartphone with optical zoom and OIS (ASUS) and the world's first phone with 4GB of RAM (again ASUS). And what does Sony have for us...a stainless steel version of an existing product I hope there will be at least one high-light |
