You still with the S$ or Note 3? It should be a good upgrade but I won't be on it. I am going the full two years on my Note 3.
I hope to get plenty of the Note 4 software though including the less bloated Touchwiz.

That's understandable, the Note 3 is still a beast and owns most of the 2014 flagships.
Yep, still on the Galaxy S4 32GB, it has served me very well for over a year now, so it will be nice to take the step up to the Note range. I simply can't wait to have a larger and more dense display, Water+Dust resistance, and a much larger battery, and whatever else Samsung and Android L brings.

glad you have been able to be patient and wait for the note 4 and not succumb to a z2. i've just set up my note 2 with official samsung 4.4.2 south african firmware with odin and am giving it to my cousin tomorrow. i don't feel sad about parting with it or anything, which is damn strange. i'm starting a new journey with a new OS and manufacturer and ain't looking back. going simplicity for two years and in two years will look at returning to android if i haven't fallen for the whole wp ecosystem. excited again about a phone. hope this month or flies by for you.

Thanks Hobbs, it hasn't been easy I'm now so amped for the Note4 the next few weeks must really flyby, just need to bury my head in work and other stuff.
Hope you thoroughly enjoy WP, it may just be what you needed to get over the boredom you had over Android, and the Nokia Lumia 1520 the perfect WP device to go with, it's what I'd pick as well,

I have had Note since Note 2 and I haven't been any happier with a phone series. The only let down has been the issues Note 3 got with the update from Jelly Bean to Kit Kat. Worse battery and random reception drop.

For me the Note 3, as with most of Samsung's flagships, just need a lighter software running on them. Touchwiz has been too heavy, too bloated. They had too much emphasis on muscle and not enough on grace, ,smoothness, speed and fluidity.

More Galaxy Note 4 leaks:
Snapdragon 805 variant and 64bit Exynos 5 with A53/A57 variant
16MP Camera with OIS
Both variants will have 4GB RAM
Galaxy Note 4 listing points to a €600 price tag, two versions
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 launch is only a few weeks away, but the phablet is obviously too impatient to wait that long. After posing for the camera the other day, it has now made its way to the window of an Indonesian online shop, confirming a few interesting details in the process.
For one, we got our first indication of what the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might cost. We've learned not to read too much into such preliminary listings since they usually feature inflated price tags as the shops try to make sure that such publicity stunts won't end up costing them money. The usual strategy is to list a smartphone at a price that's certain to be higher than its actual one, so you don't risk anything when pre-orders are placed.
However, the case is rather different here - erafone has posted the listing with at IDR 9,499,000, which translates to €600. And given the Note's family history, that's very close to what the Note 4 will retail for - the fact that the store went so close suggests it may already have some preliminary information by Samsung.
Another interesting bit that gives credence to the listing is the CPU field, which lists two different versions. Now it's not hard to guess that the Note 4 will be available in Exynos and Snapdragon flavors, but here we have the exact version numbers and clock speeds of the CPUs so again it might be more than just shooting in the dark.
Apparently the Snapdragon 805-powered Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will have the N910S designation, while the Exynos-running units will go by N910C. And both of them will have 4GB of RAM and a 16MP OIS camera.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 announcement is taking place on September 3 and we'll be there to cover it live, so make sure you come back when the time comes.

A toned down touchwiz would be great in addition to OIS.
