I think gsmarena tested on IFA phones without any applications on background. Need to test just
booted phone. IFA results wasn't fake, engaget got pretty close just little smaller.

Im sorry randomuser. I didnt read his comments on Japan. If I had i would have said something be sure of that!
I was just saying that, because you always say to ignore him and yet you are the one not doing it!
But I didnt mean to attack you and I completely agree, racist comments are not tolerable. But that would be the moderators job (is there any here?)

I'm sorry too then. He made that comment a 2-3 weeks back. I know I was the one who always said ignore him but I really couldn't hold myself this time seeing his hate posts in every thread. Will try and ignore him from now on.
And I wonder too where are the moderators and why no action was taken against mediar.

@Rog

How is it that the Quadrant score is so low

No idea. But to be honest: I don't care I have never been a friend of benchmarks, I think they don't reflect a phone's performance in normal every-day-usage-mode.

All I can say is that I used the Xperia P for quite some time now, and compared to the P, the T feels snappier and faster by far. In the last couple of days, I never - and really, I mean never - experienced a situation where there was a lag. That thing just runs.

Regarding battery life: after 2 full charging cycles, the phone makes it just through my office day (6am - 7pm). Let's see if that gets any better. Second thing I noticed that I don't like: the power button's position. It is too far down on the side, so whenever I want to switch the phone on, I have to move my thumb far down, which kind of brings the phone out of balance when holding with one hand. Same obviously applies for the volume rocker, there it is even worse, because it is even further down on the side of the phone.

Woah !!!

The T camera does impress no doubt. I just compared the GSMArena samples of the T with GS3/One X and the T is noticeably more detailed, sharp and actually has less noise than them.
I haven't yet compared the T shots with the S, but I'm sure the T will best the S as well.

Also guys, don't forget that you can always tone down noise with post processing, but you cannot magically create detail in photos.

Its no good for me if the phone has bad battery life. Poor battery life means more charge cycles, and the phone's battery will wear out soon. This will be a problem thanks to the fixed battery.. I guess I will wait for gsmarena's battery life tests to see how it really performs..

First couple weeks or 7 days of full cycle charged before battery will fully utilized.
I don't know why but I'm one that really frustrate in first couple weeks with my Xperia S.
As today, battery is much stronger and last me at least 12-16 hrs depend on my regular use.

Most of the time Sony always have problems with battery life and then they come out with an update which fix it up. I think it's just a matter of time when Xperia T will get an update with the battery fix.
T200 -> T68i -> T610 -> K700i -> P910i -> W800i -> P990i -> M600i -> P1-> Nokia E71 -> X1i -> X10 -> Arc S -> Sony Z1 -> Sony Z Ultra -> Sony Z3+ -> iPhone 6 -> iPhone 7 Plus -> iPhone X -> iPhone XS Max

Very true HxH, all 2012 Xperia phones have had terrible battery life for the first week. After a week or two battery life improves considerably. And also fixes, as IndianDawg mentioned.

Are You serious? Thoose pics are crap. So much post-processing noise... It's not the standard noise, standard noise was deleted by post-processing algorythm, which sucks. This looks like standard 8MP stretched to 13. Also S camera was bad... Not to mention bad quality 1080p videos... (I think they upgraded 1080p quality on T, not sure)

Anyway looking at these pics makes my eyes itch, I don't think I can ever look and say wow to any mobile camera photo besides 808 PureView.

EDIT: Just saw 1080p sample from GSMArena, sadly it's the same crap as Xperia S :/
