probably you need to reinstall again the internet and mms profile settings which you can get it from your net operator/provider. normally the settings will be erased with a new fw update

We are talking about GSM Signals not GPRS Speeds.

Click on this link http://www.sonyericsson.com/c[....]te_service_setup-2.9.12.24.exe
Install it and follow the instructions to update. Firmware files are usually for reverting back to older versions if you're not happy with the latest one. For the latest version, follow the steps I mentioned

In some versions they've been replaced with "Television".
They're quite easy to put back with A2 uploader.
I've got this problem with the missing RSS feeds icon. Can anyone explain how to put it back with A2 uploader? I've Googled it but found nothing.

You need to upload a customize_upgrade.xml file into tpa/preset/custom/
I am unable include the script in my reply so if you PM me an email address I can send it to you. |

Is there a setting to turn auto connect to favourite WLANs back on? 3AUS have disabled the feature.
There is also no new firmware for 3AUS. I'm on R1FA034 dated July'09. |

One more improvement found- they've softened the call hang up tone. It used to be deafening when you're at full call volume while on the headset. Seems small but before this it really was a pain for me to have to pull the headsets out just to hang up. Good going SE, I now have everything I'd ever want in my W995, EVERYTHING (except Facebook which I've now manually installed, and well, maybe an even better cam sw with a more aggressive noise suppression? Walkman 4.0- as promised since its inception would be quite appropriate....and the list still goes on ).

Hello everyone. I just got my new W995 today, branded to a french provider called SFR. Even though the SIM is still inactive, because I opted to keep my old number (it should get activated in a week), I can use all the phone functions, except calling, of course. Problem is, Wifi doesnt work properly: it finds networks, but it cant connect to secure ones; the open ones it connects to, but afterwards it cant load any page. Could it have smth to do with the branded software, and should I wait for the activation, or is this a more serious problem(hardware)? software version is R1GA026, SEUS says it's the latest...Thanks for any insight into this problem.
