I think they all sell refurbs as new.. and with this models problems it's a good thing too. Only as long as the refurbs have the problems fixed of course.

Car phone warehouse do that now, they used to sell refurb phones not anymore

hey guys, i'm using darkmagician's 1.5 camdriver for my c905.. i noticed some pictures taken can't be opened with photoDJ and can't be "photo fixed".. is that a problem or is it normal? can the new driver be causing this?

just got my C905 back from Carphonewarehouse after i was experiencing probemes with it kicking me out of a menu when i happen to be scrolling down in a particulat menu. needed a new flex cable and this is the second i have had now in 2 months. all seems fine at the moment - but it's in the back of my mind that i could have the same thing happen in a matter of time..

It shouldn't,this problem occured with old batchs of C905 and if repaired with new flex cable you shouldn't have this same problem again, unless the dude in the repair center was drunk

I got a problem with the wifi for this phone. It seems like it cant even find any connections. I tried standing next to my router and it just cant find it. Tried to manually setup it and it wont connect. I got the recent updated firmware from Sony. Its also unlocked too. You guys know whats going on?

Karazyfoo,

I had the same problem with my C905 so I took it back to Carphone Warehouse for repair. I ended up getting a new handset from SE. That's now gone back for repair because it would go into it's screensaver and wouldn't come out of it. I'd have to remove the battery to get the phone to function again.

I have just got a new C905 and was wondering if someone could help me with the following:

When the phone slider is shut and you press the call/end/d-pad buttons etc. it wobbles up and down in a see saw fashion.

Is this normal or should I send it straight back?

Thanks.

I am very disappointed to hear that i want to buy a C905 but i'm still put off by problems such as yours, i thought all this had been sorted out? I don't want to buy one until i'm confident that the problems have been fixed.

I am considering buying a C905 Plus within the next few weeks but i don't know if the problems on the C905' are fixed on the C905 Plus?

Only a few of Esatonians have got it so to be honest, no one can really tell you that right now.
