At the moment is the best Sony Ericsson phone...
The only fault is the led-flash... |

Hi, i have a couple questions about this phone (thinking in getting one soon, still undecided between W760 and C702):
1.- Does it have a light sensor (to auto adjust screen brightness in low light environments)?
2.- Does it have an accelerometer, and, does it have auto rotate?, if not, can you manually rotate the screen while playing videos ?
3.-How is the music experience, I.E.: playlist management and player usability)
Thanks in advance!.... |

1. No (thank God, I hate a screen dimming most of the time ).
2. No.
3. It's quite good and satisfying. The interface somewhat is kinda slow, but not so slow either. It's still fast when browsing through hundreds of tracks in album list/play list. The sound quality is really good via loudspeaker or headset. (with the latest firmware)

more pics from Ning.
i'm loving the cam quality. i rarely get blurred pictures even when taking night pics with slightly shaky hands.
red is not pinkish. notice the difference between the red car in the background and the pinkish red car in the front.
not pinkish. for sure.

Thanks for the info! |

Of course there's an option for that. It can't be automatically rotated cause C702 doesn't have accelerometer, but it can be manually rotated.
Don't you worry cause you can rotate manually pictures and videos both in Media menu or in File Manager. you can even zoom in/out them, save screenshots from video play (just simply press the cam button), etc. lots of features.
see.. i know that you're using W710, it doesn't have the landscape feature, right? But the lack of that feature only occurs on SE's clamshell except SE's A200.

@Amras: Yes, that feature is lacking in my current model, well, thanks for clearing that up for me, i will seriously consider buying this model instead of W760...
One more question: What is the phone like for texting purposes?, does the keyboard feel comfortable when writing SMS ?... also, when you rotate the screen, can the video be viewed in full screen?
Thanks again!

Texting is convenient here. Keypad is very, very soft to press. I only found two SE phones with these comfortable keypads: K660 and C702.
Yes, it can be viewed full screen. Just simply choose Landscape view from the Options.

Actually, only a few high-end A200 are featured with this while there's too many A200 that's without accelerometer. It would've been nice to have the feature, but it won't hurt either not having it. I think.
