Thanks Burgaz, that's helpful Nice to see a friendkly face here too

And i know it's just splash resistant really.... was just hoping for the better end of that specification. My ideal phone would be waterproof and unsinkable (one can always keep on dreaming, right?) but I fear I will have to build it myself for no manufacturer seems that way inclined.

Oh well... took no specs at all but just one look at the cyan to persuade me anyway, hehe..

Use trekbuddy, it's much better than googlemaps and it's free.

some people suffer this problem, try to reflash your firmware via SEUS

I installed the R3CA037 for europe to get the shortcut key to work.

Ok, that works now but no face detection any more...
GPS is really slow

Any suggestions?

Not entirely true. They can be updated, but the firmware must be made available by Vodafone first. So quite often Vodafone skips a firmware, or the firmware comes out very late - a lot later than the generic releases.

I was able to update my Vodafone W910i a few months ago and I'm hoping there will be a new update soon, cause this firmware is crap compared to my original firmware.

If I can give you one bit of advice, if your phone is working fine now, don't be so keen to update. Quite often the latest firmware is not the best firmware, and is actually a lot worse!
