@Prom1: mapquest, yahoo maps, and google maps can deal with most of those situations, and unless you have a prepaid data service that you need to use up, mapquest will be a far cheaper expense. Also, you can set a timer in any phone, granted it's not on a GPS showing you were to go though.

@RandomCarpet: Can you really create your own map and store it on the phone? That sounds pretty cool...

Based on experiences from the w580i, and general enhancements the w760i is getting, does anyone know if the sound quality from headphones will match that of stand-alone mp3 players?

Thanks

stand alone mp3 players will output better sound quality than the walkman phones due to the digital audio chips embedded. (but this is not readily noticeable and can only be determined in a laboratory)

what do you guys think about the BestPic feature being implemented in the non-cybershot phone w760?

Awesome...

They should have added that to the W910
That would have made the W910 the most awesome phone...

imo, w760 will be a bestseller for .
and knowing this, have added BestPic to w760 so that the BestPic feature will become more widely known to those non-techy users.
it may seem ridiculous but there are people out there who doesn't know what
bestpic is all about.

But W760i does not have BestPic. AFAIK there was a mistake in the press release.

And it has poor camera interface (like W580i). No landscape mode, no camera key...

As this phone has GPS capabilities, will it be able to geo-tag photos?
