If the law says it must be unlocked in the UK then its good news for us with hacked iPhones. |

What happens to us with hacked phones?? If they are unlocked here will we be able to 'officially' unlock ours coz ours are from the states and locked to AT&T??????
Was jumping the gun the wrong thing, should we of waited until the uk launch?? |

I'm wondering this too, even if it is then i'm not too bothered there will always be ways to be able to update.

Ditto! I do hope it well, we'll just have to play the waiting game. Got an update from my friend, apparently i could get it for £249 plus my tariff so not much difference from the £269 officially quoted.
How come :bt: doesn't work over here? Is there a chance it ever will as i really miss this feature?

@m8cky
It depends on if the so called special 02 Sims and being on a 02 iPhone tariff is what gives you access to the visual voice mail or not. So for now i don't think anyone knows one way or the other just have to wait for November 9th and see what happens.
As to getting your US sourced iPhones unlocked this all depends IMO on if it is Apple that will be forced to unlock them or if it is 02 or obviously if they don't have to at all. Although i am not sure if the fact they weren't purchased in the UK will effect it.

Hopefully it won't. I mean what if iTunes can detect it is American by the serial number? Either way i'm glad i got it when i did to be honest.
Visual voicemail isn't an issue for me but bluetooth certainly is. There is alot of modding you can do to it too, to change tones and other things but i don't want to be messing around with it too much.
Another i meant to ask is has anyone had problems with the services app? I got it so i could turn off edge and save some money and it has hung twice and i've had to reset it.
Got rid of it earlier today and it has been fine since then.
