Yes, i do not want to exaggerate but the sound is just amazing. I had a couple of friends, (who call themselves music experts... ) listen to it, and they were very impressed..It so so full and deep on mega bass..
Bob Marley should sound great on that..

Shame i cant agree with you or Jah on the music player part as i find the colume much too low especially with my hbh ds970 bt headset.[...] |
|
Just because the volume may be a little low doesn't mean the quality isn't good though. |

@Spawn
wrong thread but, try a normal quality wired headset like the Sennheiser PX-100s. Also my HBH-DS970 experience improved significantly when I changed the size of the ear buds - I replaced the medium size with large and found for my ears that gave a better in-ear seal.

@the p990 increase the equalizer (flat) to the max it doubles the volume sound, it was mentioned before, but the unit I tested the sound volume was good most of the mp3's I played the volume was less than 75% and it was loud

here is an observation that might be useful to some...
as you might have read, I've been duplicating as much as possible my daily routine on TyTN and P990 and P990 is sucking battery at about twice the speed of the TyTN
sure, the TyTn has a 1350mAh battery and the P990 has a 900mAh battery but who wants to carry spare batteries with them?

Is the Tytn still the better device for you masseur?

Agree with masseur about the P990 seemnig to be battery hungry; note my BST-33 is 950mAh.

I'm trying very hard not to be biased towards TyTN but its hard not to.
I actually much prefer the M600 over the P990 for general ease and speed of use for daily functions and have found myself digging the M600 out of my pocket just to prove that point to myself
edit: yeah, probably 960mAh in P990 (where's my specs!)

@masseur, we'll need to get trousers with three front pockets; one for each of: TyTN, M600 & P990
(I am thinking of keeping the TyTN cos I like toys and I want more time to play with it)

also a little OT, I just spotted this little utility for Hermes (TyTN/M3100/V1605 etc users)
fit4cat Tweaker for HTC Hermes Pocket PC phone released
Quote:

Some features of this tweaker:
switching on HSDPA (that is by default switched off in some models of HTC Hermes, for example for Vodafone and O2)
showing GPS icon in settings
showing wireless plugin (that shows provider, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi status information)
disabling skin of the phone
removing battery tray icon
removing wireless tray icon
disabling SMS sent notification
improving quality of stereo audio over Bluetooth (A2DP)

Here's a little tip for TyTN users - in the phone app click either Up or Right to access the call list; Down or Left for speed dials. This feature was removed from previous WM5 devices and was present on WM2003SE. |

Any one tried both devicec Orange m3100 and the Tytn...Im unsure on which 1 to go for i much prefer the styling of the m3100 but then also like the Tytn....Also noticed theres already a rom upgrade for the Tytn which is a good thing.
Also is it possible to say install the Tytn rom on the m3100..Ive done this a few times on my previous smartphones/ppcs ....is it possible with these 2?
Thanks
