Yeah! About a year ago I had endless debates with peeps about why 3G was predominating over EDGE in the SE line-up. Now not a peep And I've been proven wrong, I thought EDGE was on the way out. 3G hasn't established enough market penetration in that time, so EDGE has remained useful. SE are now responding to that.
They've proven they can respond just as quickly to market forces as Nokia.

Pailing in comparison the the K750i I'm hoping!

@786KBR, one up for you man I was also arguing with a few of those Indian guys who have cheap edge - they were right pissed with SE at the time, can't say I blame them. And at the time SE where only just starting to spread their wings further than Europe and Japan.
I still think EDGE as a limited future. We've never even seen it in Australia, and probably never will now that we have all operators offering 3G services.
The W810 is a bit useless here for that reason and without the active lense cover I wouldn't consider it. Otherwise I'd be first in line. I like the style and form factor and other features.

what i mean is... the alternative for the lens cover, since K750i has lens cover it automatically activates the cam without unlocking the keypads sumthin lyk that...
is the RED one is the lens cover alternative for activating the cam... then its quite gud. But the icon theyve used to it is sumthin lyk a computer icon for pop-ups sumthin lyk it. or anything has to do with windows...
hhmm or maybe theyve prefer to represent it as shutter... interesting...

Isnt the button on the side the camera button?? |

I think the symbol on the button on the right side is a camera/video so it should be the one that activates the camera. The other one is probably the activity button.
resistance is futile. |
