Hi guys, 1st post
Quick question, my Vodafone W900i is coming to me tomorrow in white. I had my heart set on black for months only to find out they dont have it in black. I cant buy the handset unlocked (too expensive) so this is my only option.
Does it look nice up-close in white?
Anyone know if there are any future plans for Vodafone, through carphone warehouse, to offer it in black?!?
Will I look like a gay if I have a white phone?? lol
Thanks. |

Yeah I'm jealous. I signed up to another year with Voda to get the Sharp 903, only to find out it was utter crud and bigger than a brick. Sent it back but had already renewed contract so have my hands tied.
I really dont want it in white but really have very little choice. What can I do with a handset thats branded?! eBay?!
Any idea what sort of price to expect?! I guess I could pay to unlock it then sell it..
Whats the best option if I really dont want it?! Bearing in mind I cant send it back to CPW, and am happy to use my S700i.
Cheers. |

The white Voda w900 has vodafone printed on the front under the screen. Mine does anyway! It's still pretty smart! Think the black will look boring and blend with every other phone on the market! |

Thats my one saving grace... the lack of fingerprints on the white model and the fact that there aren't many white phones available..
I hope that when it arrives I love it so much I wont consider getting rid but I really am anti-white toys/gadgets and everything I own is black.
Oh well, its such an ace phone I'm sure its still the daddy. |

I like mine. And people do ask what it is.
I agree about the whole white gadget thing! Even my iPod is the U2 special in black!
Hope u like it! |

the voda branding on the white w900 isnt bad, barely noticable IMO.
but i am waiting for the black one...the white one just looks a little too ipod like for me! SE should make it easier to take off the housing and offer other colours... |

It has been available on O2 connections since it was launched, although not through official O2 sources.
What you are seeing is a retailer bundling a SIM free handset with an O2 connection pack. |
