hi,
can anyone tell me if i get the message ' Your Operator doesn't allow this service ' what this exactly means, does it mean that my network (orange) has restricted the update or isn't the software update working at the moment. the thing is that i have an unbranded and unbranded phone, and i read tht the update should work with an unbranded phone. phone details below:

Now dont take this the wrong way but it has been said here @ this topic and similar discussion topics @ESATO that:
SONY_ERICSSON have stoped the WEB service update known as SEUS from serving ANY operators since the updates they were releasing were faulty and corrupt....
OF course you actually read the previous posts b4 posting your question and knew this, right???

I tried to update my phone first on 25th but I had the same problem after completing 40% it jumped to 43% and then said "error communicating the device", I tried automatic and recovery mode several times but nothing worked so I thought there might be a problem with my PC, I tried to update on a different PC which is faster and having different connection but on 27th it said "there are currently no operators authorized to use this service" now I'm stuck up with no camera, hope these SE people get back to their senses atleast when someone sue them up for causing so much anxiety.

I tried to update my phone again just couple of minutes ago & I noticed one thing that they actually delete the R1N files from the PC.

Hi I dont currently own a K750i but I should be getting one hopefully in a few days time. Im just doing some research in the meantime. If the K750i I recieve doesnt have the R1N035 firmware I will flash it straight away because ive read it does impove video quality and receiption along with some other minor bugs. I understand the bulk of what is being said however im not quite sure what EU_1, EU_2, Europe 3, Europe 5 and China along with Hong Kong means, as some people have mentioned in this forum and some others.
Could someone please tell me exactly what the difference is between these? And which one I must flash my phone too.

hmm..one thing for sure, they always tell me that they dont have the service for my operator.But, I have checked again, they dont delete my files in my PC. PLease...SE...fix the darn release..I am out without camera for more than 2 weeks now.. |

yes for sure I've read terms & conditions but that doesn't mean that they're free to cause havoc, after all we pay so much amount of money just for 2 megapixel camera otherwise it doesn't have any other so exciting feature that previous phone models lack. They're not supposed to cause us distress for their own bloody fault they should test everything beforehand & then release it, it's not a child's play causing bugs & then wash their hands off from any sort of responsibility. I've mailed them a week ago but no reply at all, is this how such a big company like sonyericsson is supposed to behave?
