He also emailed me today and stated:
still have my C905 just to complete the driver
each time I start modding the 3.8 , new work come to me that is the reason for the delay
I have my list of the bug that need to be fixed and thing that need to be added like the manual color saturation which I already added to the driver
I'm afraid this may take long time and I dont want you to wait for something that my not come .
I've mentioned him fixing one bug at a time and releasing Alphas for us to try, instead of trying to fix all things before releasing!

this is good news. seems that DM is aware of exactly what needs to be fixed/added, and that his work is also appreciated here.
I have faith that he will put out a new driver eventually.

Does DM3.5 need to upload any .lng file too? I can't remember. Because I am willing to try your modded of the DM3.5 which I already downloaded. If any .lng is needed, can you upload it please?

minor edit to improve the indoor shots ( I dont know if it is better now or it become worse !! )

when you set Effect/WB then tried to edit focus Effect/WB will set back to Auto
when you set the focus and take the shot , focus set back to normal and you have to set it again
Shutter Speed is not working properly
things supposed to be in the driver (( it will be in the next version ))

sure I have to fix all the bugs
thinking of setting the fine mode to be normal and normal mode to be EM
improve video recording
