I don't think so but branded ones have locked bootloader I believe. Apart from that, yes it's possible to flash generic FW. |

Great question WRT the 4.2 update, I was told by some fans right here that it would be available in 2weeks time...that was 3weeks ago
Really and who exactly told you that ?

randomuser.
I'm pretty sure that was 2 weeks ago, not 3. And I can guarantee the Xperia Z gets 4.2 before the S4 is released. And randomuser used another person as a source, who now says that the 4.1 roll-out will occur before the Z gets 4.2, and the 4.1 roll-out is imminent. |

All are branded by default.
Yes I might actually do that, since it would save my time.
Is there any 100% safe method which would debrand my Z and put pure Generic Polish SW in the phone?

ftfs are generic roms. You should have no problem flashing it on a locked boot loader. Head over to xda-developer, you will find more info and a tutorial there. Also check out xperia T discussion thread. Ricky_D has also posted a guide for flashing.

But where are these ROMs. What is FTFS. Are they available on the Sony's Flashtool?
Looks like Flashtool = Emma.
Does it flash any available Sony's ROM to the device?

You don't need to unlock or Root.
Just install and Flash.
