I'm not sure but it would be nice to have them back for 2011 as a stand alone range and not a rebranded Mini. I think they should have 3.5" screens at least in order to show off HQ video as well as audio.

a w960 type device running Android (or even WP7, hey, its better than symbian/uiq) would be schweet!

No doubt dedicated music keys will be featured and the usual Megabass, Clear Bass and other music enhancing software. I guessing any new phones will be on the shelves before Christmas.

A new walkman smartphone should be great with android. If could remember of the W960 and it 8gb inbuilt and increase memory in it next smart walkman that should be great. What's the screen size of the mini's ? the benchmark result are great.

No more info as yet but a Neo sized phone with dedicated music buttons below the screen, slide out number pad and running Android would be a winner for sure.
Sounds sexy already.

Smarter means Android, I heard it is a copy paste design which isn't bad considering what they have at the minute. I doubt it will be high end so more likely mid to low i.e. replacement for some of the older devices. Something Vivaz size would be nice but maybe more mini I hear. The media machine are talking about resurrecting old brands so Walkman and Cybershot perhaps (though later for the Cybershot)? |

I wonder if SE is going to launch a some normal devices this year? Running on A200 platform or an upgrade of that?

I'm taking it as read the this doesn't include Japanese phones.
So we can look forward to the two new Mini's, a Walkman and their first dual-core offering.
Or a Walkman which features dual-core and possibly a Cyber-shot?

What I think!
2 new walkman branded minis (they have the walkman X design remember), the low cost android phone Bert was talking about (x8 successor?) and hopefully a new high end dualcore (Bert talking about the importance of clock speed and shorter product life cycles=Arc getting old fast).
