And in what way is the *not yet released* IPHONE better than the P990?

lets say that little think called PROCESSOR !!!!!...

How cool! I thought P990 had one too, I guess I was wrong
It's funny how u call the P990 outdated whilst it's still superior to the IPHONE that is not yet released.
Even though I don't claim the P990 to be great, your ignorance on this matter is amusing. |

On Mobile Review, MR said that there aren't going to be any more announcements neither 3GSM neither Cebit.
And Sofia will only be announced by March/April.
IMO it's a strange move by SE, since N95 is going to launch in the second week ok March.
We will just have to wait and see what happens... |

Read somewhere N95 has been delayed to April or May. Time will tell.

No. SE Would have announced the USA version along side it just like last year when we had the K800/K790 announced together.
Just hoping Sofia shows up with a USA version.

@Arne_Anka Where did you read about the S60-'king' been delayed? Half of the cell fraternity is waiting for that 'super cell' (even Cnn talked about it) and no one said something about 'been late'. Something tells me - as a SE fan you wish it never came. Right?

well it doesn't seem like is trying to compete with Nokia on a head-to-head, phone-by-phone basis. it's been said once but I'll say it again: Nokia's highest-end phones are never meant to be mainstream e.g., flood the market, but instead, exhibits of the latest available technology. the ones they announced lately are models meant for the mainstream. there's no comparison there. then again, segments the whole mobile market differently from Nokia

It'll be good to see some of the conflicting information done away with plus it seems we only have high-end phones to look forward too now if Jedi-master and his force is proven correct.

Yeah I sure did, and still have to. More than 10,000 views in one day for this thread, and a hell of a lot of posts.
Think I've done alright, but I work on it more later.

Don't be surprised if we see some this year. It's actually been done by SE Japan.
But SE is revamping itself this year. Last year they stayed quite stagnant in terms of innovation (design and tech), but seeing from yesterday's announcements, it seems that 2007 WILL be a great year.

Well if the K810i is anything to go by, I am looking forward to more interesting designs from
Lots of people complained in the past about the poor quality of the materials used in some phones - the paint finish on the S700i and P900i didn't hold up to much wear and tear. Hopefully we will see more hardwearing metals etc.
