Why, the French site said that x10 provide 265 K.
Take a look
The Acer Liquid use android 1.6 as the same with x10. But in x 10 the colour more brightness and vivid.
That's why, probably the French site comment a little bit mistake

Now, this is a real good reason for SE upgrade X10 to Android 2.1 or more:

I don't see how this French review can be considered serious when they write several false statements like Screen 262.144 colors and Video Calling Yes.
mobile-review on the other hand is much more accurate and fair.
Accurate when everybody knows that Eldar hates SE?
I think thats correct its posted on the SE site, on the page for MWC they included a PDF which shows SE X10 has a 262K color....

"Note however that on the front there is a sensor for screen brightness, which can automatically adjust and another close to shut down the screen as you approach the mobile phone near her ear[/u] This is particularly convenient"
as translated from journal du geek
Does SE X10 have a proximity sensor?

Thsi test was actually very negativ, i think the lag in Timescape is becuse it is constantly looking for updated ststus on facebook and twitter via 3G or WiFI, if it only updated when idle it must be better? |

I totally agree with this assessment. The phone is BLAZING fast. mediascape is speedy as can be! The only parts that "lag" are the content that needed to be retrieved from the internet. Since the default timescape screen is the ALL, I can see why there is a lag since it is trying to load everything as well as do the fancy animations. I'm curious if you can set it to update during idle too, if it would improve performance and speed of timescape.
In any case, the phone looks ready to go. White is SO sexy. If they make timescape as fast as mediascape is in that vid... all i can say is WOW.
I really hope it's available early march from the online store and i HOPE the north american version is available at the same time. I can't wait any longer!!!

This test http://www.journaldugeek.com/[....]lash-sony-ericsson-xperia-x10/
is not that negative.
The author points out all the time his disappointment regarding the 1.6 version without explaining why.
He found Timescape to be laggy & not optimised & not interresting.
And concluded that for 600 euros you could have better.
Does the X10 only play 3GP & WMV files ? (as mentioned in this test?)

thanks drinki but that didn't answer my question.
i'm curious if the different setting would improve timescape performance.
