Ouch! Seems like they don't have for UIQ. Would've loved to try it as it sounds quite good.

I'm still yet to find a Ucweb version 4 a blackberry, o and I did buy my BB for browsing the dam network said uncapped browsing, what's the point if you can't download??? Makes no sense, and this is not a personal issue forum its for phone functionality issues and technical help. Peace

I guess the 'unlimited' net was to make the whole deal look better? most people who buy BlackBerrys dont use the net as heavily as we do on phones, so im sure most would be fine with the browser,but when you start dealing with file sharing sites that require flash,java script and all that like Rapidshare the BB wont be able to handle them properly,but im sure the majority of BB users dont go on such sites, and BB put the browser there just for the casual browse once in a while,if you want more rather install OperaMini.

@Hobbs

Thanks! I'm with you, there is unlikely to be a perfect phone for all our needs. We just have to compromise here and there.

@mweaich
Nah, man. I don't think you offended anyone here. It's all discussing pros and cons of everything. Welcome indeed as the Chief in here, wanqs, has said.

@wanqs

Hmmm... that reminds me of a news article I saw on tv that France is the best country to live in for its quality of life. Funny how them Brits will still complain after that.

I got it the same time I got BB, had too, the blackberry sucked so went to buy a nokia, its awesome, the native browser is fluid and the phone has a large amount of RAM so it never freezes, shoking for its price tag.

@ mweaich:
If my iffy memory serves me correctly, they were very near the top of that ranking chart that Dups was referring to, but I'm not sure re social living; couldn't be too far off the mark, methinks.
I'm sure these okes would know, any bias aside, of course :

LMAO. Hola, tranced. Yeah, I haven't been taking that many P1i pics over these Winter months here. I'll be attending a few shows next month, so I'm pretty sure that the P1i pic thread will be getting a host of new pics within the next month or so...

By the way, dig that B&W kitty pic that you took with your P1i.

Yipeeee! I am on leave for 1 full month!

Got too many days and still have to take another 20 days of leave before August.

@GUCCI
Remember the ring volume of my sister's 8520 that I felt was low? Well, it is low. I went to profiles and set it to high but it still didn't help. My sister went to complain about the issue of a blue screen on incoming calls and was given a new handset which is still low as the first one. I wonder how Rhino's mrs's Curve is in this regard, I somehow doubt it'd be different after the second one is doing as the first in my sister's case.

Anyway, I'm struggling with this trackpad on the 9700, I just can't get used to using it. Sometimes it is sensitive and other times it needs me to touch harder on it. Hopefully I'll get used to it.
