Dups!
Did you activate BIS? Thats when a BB shines and out classes all other OSs. Having Push email online in other phones = poor batt life,but the BB just keeps going.

@GUCCI

I am truly amazed! This may be the only thing that keeps me with Blackberry. My e-mails are just pushed through with such ease without me having to worry about a thing. It really is wonderful!

This really is brilliant! I did mention that already, didn't I?

Honestly, it makes me wonder how I ever managed without it. I see I can surf for 'nothing' with this plan.

And you can't view attachments over 3.5mb!!!!!!!! BB sucks! I love my uncapped 5 days of Battery life nokia E63!

Sorry to say, but i think you are in the minority. I love using my wives BB8520 (YES the cheapest bb around) and it is wonderful with BIS... ANYWAY, if you are looking for good rendering etc you should use a pc.

Most phones nowadays have pc browsing capability, o wait not BB, ya the BIS is great for just emails that are not bigger than 3 songs! The browsing sucks! Bandwidth that is.

@mweaich

Sounds to me like you're looking for support. If it doesn't work for you it doesn't mean it doesn't or won't work for anybody else.

I love it and am enjoying it! Like Rhino8 pointed out, you're in the minority. You are happy with your E63 then good for you!

BBs arent exactly made for heavy Web browsing, mainly for heavy Email and texting, if you bought for browsing you made a big mistake, you are better off with a WM, Symbian S60 (like your E63) or iPhone.

@GUCCI

Exactly! I did actually point out that the phone rendered some pages improperly yesterday but for me it was all about call, text and e-mail first then browsing.

I prefer my laptop for heavy browsing. Their (Blackberry) specialty has always been e-mail and text and they've never pretended to be anything other than that though they try to be.

And theres always Opera Mini5 beta2 if you want pages rendered nicely as highly functional as the S60 browser is i find myself using Opera Mini or UCWeb if i dont want to be forever Pan&Zooming

So true!

By the way, how's UCWeb? I have never tried it.

Dups!
UCWeb is fantastic if you hate Pan&Zoom web browsing, its also very fast,and unbelievably lite on resources: both RAM and battery, its even lighter than Opera Mini. Im using the new Ucweb7 s60 version right now on my 5800,it still needs work for touchscreen though,but i can live with the bugs as the UCWeb team seem to always listen to its users,and its advantages outweigh the cons.
