Went to Vodashop to try out my next phone, the Bold 9700, which was out of stock.

I incorrectly stated that I tried my cousin's instead of correctly stating it was the 9000 that I also tried at Vodashop some month or two ago.

I've seen quite a few people with Satios, ended asking one guy if he was happy with his and the answer was an expected NO. He said he was on his third Satio and if it gave him any more problems he was going to get a Nokia. Way to go SE, chase whatever few customers you have left with your poor software implementation!

Another thing that puzzled me was Nokia's brand power in SA coupled with Vodacom ripping us off everytime. The N97 is actually more expensive compared to the Satio even with its crippled hardware. I remember them overpricing the E90 when it was dropping at Incredible Connection. In 2007 Incredible Connection had the E90 at R6999 while Vodashop had it at R9000.

I guess with Nokia's strong brand power they (Vodacom/Vodashop) will always make money from consumers.

Saw a Cadillac Escalade EXT during my driving lesson this morning by the way,very rare to see one of those here,sure it had a V8 in there as the sound of the other cars was drowned by its roar when it accelerated.

@GUCCI

I'm upgrading on Thursday. Hopefully I will have the time cause I'm for a very busy week.

They told me they were expecting stock this week.
