Now THAT is a cracking idea!
No, it was one of those disturbingly clean houses. I don't mean that there's anything wrong with being clean of course, but this house is just TOO clean. Clinically, obsessively clean if you know what I mean!
The reason he won't let me reinstall the PC is because he has a large database of aircraft movements on there and he's scared of losing it. That's right, aircraft MOVEMENTS.
He spends his free time logging the daily domestic flights to and from UK airports. He sits there watching the real-time flight departure and arrival data on several UK airport sites and logs each and every one of them in his database.
I wish I was joking, but unfortunately I'm not

What, you mean like terrorism? Nah....
This guy's in his late 40's and lives with his mum, he's got pictures of boeings and airbuses up all over his bedroom (where his PC is). His PC is set up primarily for MS Flightsim, he's got the rudder peddles, yoke stick, separate throttle controller and everything. I'm quite jealous actually, 'cos I'm into flight sim too
I don't think he's doing it for malicious purposes, he's just a total bloody sad case

I'm kinda jealous too... I used to love ms flight back in my 486dx2 days. I even got a flight stick when i got my first pentium. Now a days i'd be much happier with a steering wheel for my 360 but the missus thinks it's odd enough me talking to people on xbox live so actually pretending i'm in a car is a big no no. |
