when did you update? i am on vodafone UK and successfully completed the update on sunday but when i checked to see if i had gone from R1L002 to R1N i was still on R1L002? i would like to update to R1N for the improved signal and camera. is this possible? |

I love my K750i but SE they are a bunch of freakin retarded monkeys....
Tipical company that goes from Top to bottom in quality service... Thats what happens when they start cutting corners to save money...

If you email SE and ask them for the one closest to you they will send you an address...
You can also Use the post in service if its too far....
But do send that e-mail to SE and ask...

thanks for your help. i really wanted to update it myself via SEUS thus saving me from taking my phone anywhere or losing it for a week or two. |

Hello everybody..
question : did anyone have problem with mem card after update to R1N?
Problem like when trying to put files on it, then al of a sudden all files all deleted :S
It may have been my mem card that acted stupid.. anyway.. it pissed me off so much I broke it :|  |

so i contacted SE and they told me that my nearest SE service centre is nearly 200miles away and it would be easier for me to send it away for 2weeks for them to do the update - surely there must be a way of doing it myself - ?
i have tried various sim cards in my phone orange etc and they work, i have no vodafone branding on my phone (only vodafone live) and when i completed the update on sunday it just told me to turn my phone on, select the english language and its done! but when i turned my phone on it gave me no option to choose any language and i checked my firmware and it was still on R1L002 - ??? |

I thought I had an unbranded phone, as there is nothing at all on it from O2 however SEUS will not let me update from the R1L. Its actually a french model looking at the manual and packaging. Is there anything I can do to be able to update the firmware?

Is your phone locked?
The only way is thru a SE service center... email SE and ask for addresses close to you....

No the phone is not locked. There is nothing on the phone from O2 at all. it is a bog standard W800i.
Which is why I can't understand SEUS not letting me update.

Unless your f/w is R1N035 then U should be able to update which it isnt...
Cheeky Phones 4 you did they sell you that as a sim free mobile??
If they did they ripped you off...

I have a credit on Davinci but can't get the thing to work, everytime I connect the phone to PC it keeps turning itself on, Can't figure out what am doing wrong, have foolowed everything to the letter.
Is it the french model thats causing SEUS not to work.

Have u got dcu60 selected in the dropdown bow at the top? And holding down c while the phone is off?
