hello brit. tanong ko lang kung ano ang problema pag humina ang signal ng cellphone after itong mahulog. Also, how much would it cost kung papa-repair sa smartnet. My phone is a Philips Xenium 9@9.

Thanx...

britri- I am a little confused with regards to your warranty policies. I was there last Saturday to replace the faceplate of my T68i. I told you that the lcd of my phone was pink in color and this happened after a fw upgrade there. You told me that lcds were not covered by warranty. This has gotten me confused because I was able to replace my lcd at Semicon (2x) and at SESS once without any charges whatsoever. Why would Smartnet's warranty policies differ? Doesn't Sony Ericsson set these policies?

For your info., both SESS and Semicon were not able to fix the lcd despite replacing them. After having my lcd replaced at Semicon, it remained pink, while at SESS, it turned greenish in color. I was told by SESS that the lcd replaced by Semicon was for an ie model.

Whatever the case may be, I just want a normal lcd. Normal, meaning white and not pink or green. This whole problem with the lcd started after the upgrade at Smartnet. Can you revisit your warranty policies and see what can be done considering that this phone is covered by warranty and I don't to shell out more money for it. This is precisely why I always buy warrantied phones.

I also checked with a fellow esato member and he had the same problem as well but in his case, he was not charged at all by Smartnet.

I plan to go to Smartnet tomorrow to have my T68i upgraded and with the hope that my lcd will be replaced free of charge the way Semicon and SESS have done. Will I be wasting my time by going there?
