@JN - No, bud, I work for a private company. But there was a time when I dreamed about becoming a professional social worker. I don't have the training for that, though  Btw, I don't think my pics are really community work type; I take outdoors pics simply to get better lighting

Shanties by the side of a dead, polluted river in Manila. The slum people here gather various kinds of garbage floating on the river. They sell what could be salvaged, and turn over unusable trash to the garbage authorities. Even from the bridge where I took the shot, the stench is overwhelming:

@chili - Hmmm . . . why not take 'nice' images of our turf pal, say, like - luxury cars, pretty babes etc. NOT like those  'eye sore' images  But, we just have to live with REALITY here I guess huh

To borrow @govigov's tagline, we could very well say "Philippines -- God's own country." You know how beautiful our natural topography is. And we are a very talented people. But in general we do lack the sense of unity that could save our country's environment from destruction. And we've somehow managed to elect some of the most corrupt people to high office. Can you believe that Dennis Roldan was a CONGRESSMAN???

@chili - Yup! I remember seeing those 'white-curtains' in South Superhighway during the APEC meeting in Manila way back mate . . . Though, it will be your choice to post the images you want I guess dude. How about Fishball, Cotton Candy and Dirty Ice Cream carts  !

this is my 8 year old american bull terrier,u get 3 types of pit bull,workin class,show class n backyard bread,mines show class which is huge compared 2 the back yard bread u c around,foot 2 shoulder hes 19 inches,thats a big bull.

@chili pardz! how many pictures can K700 take in the memory of the phone(best quality settings)? I don't have K700 yet but I'm planning get one soon. Btw I like those shots that you posted here in the forum a variety of life activities of the pinoys. Keep posting dude. |
