The only fake photo is the one of the red ice cream truck. |

Is all Virgile's pic fake? Considering he's Nokia guy, all photos are 800x600, and he has DSLR too...
Some picture in this thread has wide dynamic range... Unbelievable for such a small sensor. (Small pixel size could lead to limited and poor dynamic ranges...)
I hope not... (Fingers Crossed)

The photos Hiron posted can't be trusted, as the Ice-Cream truck pic is fake.
All the Virgile Photos can be trusted, as he is a respected Journalist within the industry, with no motivation to fake pictures. (Plus the sheer amount he has posted would take forever to change.)
The ones at the fairground do seem a little too good. Not sure about them.

I never trust pics from anyone unless i know them personally AND i know the provenance of the item they purport to be using.

The macro shots posted together with the red truck were taken by marcusradekker: here, here and here. I see no reason to doubt that these are genuine as it's (painfully) obvious that these came from a CMOS camera phone when viewed at full scale, i.e. the usual signs of noise reduction and halos from too much sharpening.

AbuBasim, you're probably right except for the fact, that Canon DSLRs also use CMOS sensors:) |

I said CMOS camera phone! I know that the huge CMOS sensors used in Canon's dSLRs are very, very good. The 5D Mk III has a full frame sensor, whereas the 905 most likely has a tiny 1/2.5" sensor. That makes the difference in quality where the dSLR can shoot at ISO 1600 with almost no noise, while the 905 needs very good NR software to handle even ISO 100.

Dpreview.com is really a good sites. So many camera databases. Thanks for the information, marcink
@marty,
I'm so sorry... I just want to share what I've got... In this case, an email.
I should blame my friend later. It's a shame
Anyway, I never see exact technical data of C905's sensor. I want to know further, such as sensitivity, sensor-size, etc. Can somebody give us the sensor whitepaper, or something like that?

The macros are good. Night pics are excellent. Outside day pics are good but too much noise reduction.
Pity about the ice cream truck but no surprise really
Overall it's looking good sofar.

yeah, the 8510i has potential, but I haven't seen enough of either yet to decide. It's pretty even so far imho (but I haven't seen macro's or night pics from the samsung yet).
