i dont understand why everyone puts down photoshop, its a great photographers tool.
So do the most of every pictures you see day to day, curves in photoshop help me get more of the real picture.

I never said it was a bad thing, i use it myself too.
My point was that the k850 by itself (without PS/photoDJ) doesn't reproduce those colors..
Of course they could add ++saturation in the camdriver..

My slipper. Red. No problem.

My "shower clock". Red. No problem.

The only thing is that the flash might bleach the red colour somewhat. But that is how it works when using flash.

@Luci'sPower
Nice as allways!
What settings do you use? Are you still on -37 firmware?
I haven't decided what to make of the camera now with the -31 firmware that i'm using. But it's possible(not sure how hard it is) to get sharp shots..at least in macro, as you can see from the shot on my slipper a few posts down.

You're wellcome!
I wonder if i should use document settings with this new firmware or not when i take outdoor shots and otherwise...guess i have to do it in the old fashion- trial by error!

well if you know wich profile to choose in any situation(day, low light, night ,flash etc.) it's imposible no to take good photos with K850....i admit it's a bit tricky but after some practice you will be able to take great pictures with k850....And you should not complain i've seen some of your pics ,and they are of good quality

WOW! Great news. I found a new discovery in PhotoDJ. I can't recall that I had the "Colour Balance" menu in PhotoDJ before (in K800, K770 or R1C K850), but now it exists over there. And I gave it a shot, guess what.. It's amazing! Really amazing.

It really pops up the color of every pics you take. Still saving the image quality. And most important, your pics will have the original EXIF data. I'm so happy that I found it.

Look at those pictures below. From this:

With some Colour Balance magic, becomes this:

You can look at the full res: http://www.esato.com/phonephotos/viewphotos.php?pid=10190 and check the EXIF data. It doesn't change at all.

Anyway, forget the blurry image cause I really didn't take my shots seriously. I just played around, tried PhotoDJ, till I found the amazing new feature on it.
