Hayibo! For that money you could almost buy (only R200 extra) an entirely new iPhone 3G (8 Gig) here:

@ gola:

LOL, and there wasn't even anything that mind-blowing amongst the new DVD releases this week either. Ended up falling asleep on the couch while watching repeat episodes of American Chopper on one of the Discovery Channels.

Gotta say that Family Guy is wack, LOL. Very sharp wit.

@ Hobbster:
Glad you got your E-Naaintie back so quick and in relatively good nick, boet.

@ Gucci:

Dig that worm macro pic, boet. Yeah, I need to pull my finger out and get snapping with some decent macro shots with the Pee One-Eye.

Some rumours going around that N900 may never see daylight in South Africa, its being released in USA, and some European countries. we'll see. N85 or N86 or maybe an Android will do for me,i just want a smartphone with a decent camera now.

Thanx for those links, COMPLETELY agree with Steve Litchfield about S60 Symbian, he basicaly mentioned almost every reason why i like it,and i agree about it being a fantastic OS even next to the iPhone. This is why i couldnt understand why people call S60 "unlogical" ,when you,the end user can rearrange the entire Menu and folders to exactly what you want. I can recreate the A200 Menu on my N81 if i want to straight-out-the-box without hacking or modding. I like the fact that i can create sub-folders and organise my apps etc. . .to make browsing for apps a lot easier, from what i remember this is not possible in an iPhone, your apps are in pages, id hate to see an iPhone with +100 apps, thats how many my N81 has (pre-installed and 3rd party together),but lucky they are organised into folders and sub folders.
But who cares, Symbian is going to die,and Android plus Apple OSX will rule the world in 2years time anyway.

Off topic, I'm not into gaming at all, but I have never seen so much demand for a X-Box game (or other) as Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2.
Ads on TV with Eminem spewing out lyrics on the ad soundtrack, with all the explosive screenshots going on etc.
The local, massive Tesco hypermarket has been selling out whatever stock they get in on the same day that the replenished stock arrives!
Apparently the daily sell-outs have been happening during this entire week and last...demand is completely outstripping supply at the mo. Wow.

You don't have to explain anything to me Gucci,Im using an E90 remember and am quite happy with Symbian v3.But you'd be suprised how fast you can access an app on the iPhone with the new search tool in OS 3.0 Try it on your dads iPhone.Once you've got the hang of it Symbian cant come close to it unfortunitely. With +100 apps the iPhone will find and open that app quicker than any Symbian phone. At least the way I've mastered it.

Will try it when im at his place again. Is the search almost like the one we have in the S60v3 Stand By screen where you type a few letters then the phone brings up Apps,Documents,Music etc. . .beginning in those letters?
Ive only installed 44apps the rest are the ones that are preinstalled.
Will let you know if i see an app for that, i remember reading about a patch for that at S-F and/or iPmart for N95,N82 etc. . .in their Modding sections

Dups! ,Wanqs and Gola
Have you seen the Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG? looks like a mordernised 1950's 300SL Gullwing, and its going into production, going to be less expensive than the SLR. Its completely designed and built by AMG so its totaly specd up, doesnt look so good in its showroom pics but once out on the road its a stunner, just saw it on Auto Mundial, shares the same 6.3 V8 AMG engine as the S63AMG it seems. Dups, you sure you still want that S63? http://www.caranddriver.com/n[....]ficial_photos_and_info/gallery and i thought the new Z4 was hot.
