Good on Samsung! They can clearly see the writing on the wall regarding Symbian. Now, only if SE can do the same and ditch the OS.

I know GUCCI disagrees but Symbian is in serious trouble. SE are going to be left with Symbian all by themselves I tell you. This period of 'inactivity' for Symbian has done some serious damage and the fact is S60 just doesn't cut it when compared to the other OSs and people have enough better choices to easily migrate to the other platforms.

Nokia are going to concentrate more on maemo and I am beginning to wonder how long can they keep pushing Symbian.

SE better get out before this becomes another UIQ fiasco.

My economic powers which i aquired from the forums showed me the light! *has a Touched by Angel moment* The answer is pretty clear: What ever SE touches turns into poo: UIQ -DEAD. WM-DYING. Now S60-DYING. Android is next on SE's hitlist guys!
Gola

Has anyone watched Michael Moore's documentary 'Sicko'? Realy nice ,its all about America's health care system, how unfriendly it is to the poor, how much George Bush and his crew capitalised off it, and how it is compared to Cuban, European health care in countries like France and the UK. Realy worth a look.

Big up to Mario and his colleagues in Jeffrey's Bay. I heard that a policewoman's home had been burgled two months ago. Her phones, wallet and a few items were taken. Her investigation led her to discover that one phone was being used to access Mxit. She asked some judicious and discreet questions, then started chatting to one of the suspects. She eventually managed to lure him and his accomplice into a trap, where they were nabbed. A search of their houses produced all of the stolen goodies, including the credit cards which had been in her wallet.

I'm not superstitious, merely mildly stitious.

Nice one Mario and crew!
By the way Kryps, theres an updated version of UCWeb6.3 ,just go to wap.ucweb.com ,click on English version for Others, if it asks for the phone you using go to your phone, and you'll see its got a more recent date: 2009/10/30. It looks the same, but most the bugs have been ironed out, and its abit faster, yet still very lite on ram and battery.

Well done Mario. That was great investigating.
I got my Nokia E90 back today. It was extremely well looked after except for some chipped paint scratches on the underside by the two rubber feet, one been next to a screw which looks like it gave the technician a bit of a hard time. Also my QWERTY D-pad Left feels different.A bit on the stiff side but working fine.Hope it looses up abit with use.Overall not enough for me to cause a mini storm over.Very impressed.4 days. Not bad.
The dilemma.I'm enjoying using Facebook on the iPhone. It is fantaaassstic.I just wish S60 v3 had a Facebook client that rocked.I can't believe there is'nt one.But yeah,I've switched SIM's over to the Nokia E90 and will use the iPhones internet connection at work using Wi-fi.
Very happy my phones back.
