Just found out from Orange...I can get web access activated on my phone for a monthly of Rs 199/-. That will allow me to use the phone as an IR or BT modem and have www access on my PC.
@gov..does this access include wap access too. The guy I spoke to sounded clueless and went on and on about handset compatibility. My only question to him was if I activate web access would I have to pay Rs 199/- or only Rs 100 as they have already deducted Rs 99/- yesterday

mrao... even though it's 199 a month, they do charge per Mb of download. and this might work out to be pretty expensive.
i'd suggest u try using bt over ir.. since transfer speeds are faster...and it's got fewer compatibility issues when syncing with comp.

Has anyone used their www service? IS it worth it or am I better off paying 500 bucks to my cable provider for net access. I really dont use it that much
