I am very happy I got this phone.

I have some concerns like:
The memory usage of apps/processes drops sometimes quickly even with the same number of open apps/services.
Like from 155 MB to 110MB.
I hope it doesn't affect this device's performance.
Do you reboot often?

That's just how android handles memory which is optimized for multitasking, very different from Symbian or WM, so nothing to be worried about. You can also get Widgetsoid and set your own display brightness value as a widget similar to the stock power control widget but much more customizable. Give it a go

I keep writing that arc's camera is very very average. Now go to gsmarena and see it yourself. Samsung doesn't use fancy naming and so on. It simply works. Arc's shots may look sharper due to oversharpening. And it's probably a production model against a proto, which makes that comparision even worse for SE. Just do yourselves a favour and compare it by yourselves. Arc's shots look like pinkish oil paintings with some sharpening and visible noise reduction tweaks on comparision to Sammy. I would buy Arc with Sammys oridinary sensor without any hesitation. Sony's tech doesn't do it any favour:(
...
ok, I ve done my homework. Anyone willing to see some direct 100% crop comparisions between sgs2,arc and 2x (made from gsmarena's shots) please pm your e-mail address.

Went to the shops today and felt blue against silver and I thought I was full in favour of buying silver but now I'm not sure. Blue feels better built but the two tone rear looks cheap. Silver's finish isn't as fantastic as I hoped. Now I'm looking at trying to find Orange's limited edition black and wondering how easy is it to unlock..
I have a dig bick
You read that wrong

As I wrote in other thread too, crops are not everything. I mean I don't give a sh..t too much about it - I don't print 2 meter posters from my photos. And Arc photos look brilliant, what also GSM Arena review says.

Thanks! I don't worry anymore since observing device memory shows that the level of RAM doesn't drop to any dangerous level. Device is super fluent.

camera itself is quite fine. But sony;s driver...
severely overprocessed shots 1.X MB in size made to:
1. look good on Arc's LCD
2. look good on computer screen with no zoom
3. be as light in MB as possible.

We can take any sgs2 shot and make it look like arc's one but cannot do the opposite way, because all the detail is already lost!

I looked also at GSM Arena comparison tools and it shows exactly what I'm talking about.
Compared to Samsung Galaxy S II for instance shows some agressive sharpening but also
shows more detail and colour. Some parts are better, some are worse.
But photos as a whole look great.

It proves it's target. These are just good shooters not full profi cameras.
Profi cameras make RAW files, there's no point in comparing them.

1. Good idea!
2. great! that's exactly how i use pics from my phone.
3. Also good. Means I can email shots direct from my phone without wasting too much data.

Of course, if this was a DSLR an I was a professional photographer, I might not be so happy about it.

Yes, but I used to buy SE phones for a reasen. They used to be much better, and now are behind Sammy and Nokia in camera dept:( The qestion is why are you willing to pay for 8mp so called exmor r shots, when SE could do the same with 5mp sensor from a different manufacturer or different driver? Writing about Nokia I only mean n8, cause other 8mp phones from them...average 3mp AF would be better:)
