Ya Dups, Hamilton was so dominant; even with Vettel hounding him. What a way to finish the season.. Eish, that's racing I guess.

Whoa! Play.com has slashed the price of the W902, now just 179.99 (approx R2350)!:

The Yari is also on sale there now, for 50 (approx R600) more than the W902:

Hope everyone is still good. An awesome weekend was almost spoiled by the criminals who, for a couple minutes, put a frown on my otherwise cheery mug. My car got broken into on Friday in that crime capital of the world Rondebosch where they stole my front loader, speakers, two cases of CD's and to add insult to injury a case of Amstel which I had bought for a house party...fukkers just have no respect.

Anyway, apart from reporting it to the police and laughing at the OUTsurance consultant telling me about how much the excess is on a broken window and the stereo system, there's really not much I can do but cut down my night-time visits to Rondebosch. I'm just grateful that my car wasn't stolen....which in itself is a concession to the criminals.

Consolation though was that with the exception of Friday's episode of "Days of our Lives" my weekend was otherwise great...made some new friends, had an awesome time in Khayelitsha- where my sh!t doesn't get jacked and started this morning off at Spier Estate in Stellenbosch to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the End Conscription Campaign(wanqa, that's your generation).

Here's a couple of pics I took.

I don't often play around with the picture settings on my phone's camera but for this one I wanted to see how good it captured macro images. Not too bad but hardly excellent quality.

Part of the art exhibition on which was part of the ECC 25th anniversary weekend.

Thieving bastards.. I guess Rondebosch is targeted due to it being more affluent? Where next, Constantia? Camps Bay?
Dang, hard luck, brixtser. Thank God they didn't nick your wheels in the process too.
Ya, OUTsurance are not my fave peeps to deal with either...
End Conscription Campaign...too true re my generation; being in the last year of the January conscription intakes, in '93...

BTW, dig that hairy AK-47 pic with its horny magazine.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune, brix. Like you point out, at least you still got your ride.

Yeah the pictures are usable, not too bad.

Is that an AK-47 with a knife extension on its magazine? That is weird considering it is somewhat facing up. How is it used in combat? Strange!

Nay boet; that looks like a tusk or horn of some sorts , adding to the animal theme bits on the AK-47. Those striations on its surface aren't a uniform, mass-produced product.

True that wanqa, somehow the artist fashioned a horn to resemble a magazine. OutSurance aren't the best but seriously I only want to claim from them if I've been involved in an accident...broken windows, for that I'll pay out of my own pocket

My girlfriend wrote off her car earlier this year and now wants to get all pissy when insurance companies want to insure her for something like R2000/month.

Thanks guys! I am actually on my phone that's why I couldn't tell what that was at the end of that magazine.
