"Pietersen was given a hard time by spectators on his last visit to his native country, but Flower believes the 29-year-old has won over his critics. "This time probably he will have the respect from the South African public," Flower said. "They love sport and cricket and I expect they will treat him with respect.""

For some reason Wangs I think not.After a couple of beers,respect flies out the window at these venues.lol
We do ourselves a disservice though giving him flack because it always gives him a reason to perform well,and perform well he always does against us.

Regarding Trott.Its a pity Vaughn said those things.Makes his visit to SA very uncomfortable.Shame poor guy having this crap hanging over his head.His loyalty to England.

@jmash

I once bought a fridge at Game some 10 years ago and it started giving me hell after about 7 months. I've had a lot of people having serious problems with Game's electrical appliances and I have since stopped buying electrical appliances from them.

After some research on Game's products I discovered that they buy quite a bit of the rejects from manufacturers which explains their high return rates of defective products.

True that, Hobbster.
There will be the obvious stick, just as if there was an unlikely scenario if a Pom player/s played for The Proteas and then toured here.
Pietersen's mouth and ego didn't help matters at the time either. I don't think the situation will be as inflammatory as the last tour though, but who knows for sure? Now where's those grogs n' toots n' spiked naartjies? LOL.
It's still seems strange to SA names in some of the minnows teams (Scottish and Irish) too.

@ jmash:
2 months only? If you've got the receipt, they have to replace it.

If they send it for repairs you are 97% going to be back at the shop to inform them that it stopped working again.

Looks like somebody up there likes me, there is a new rumour that I'm finally, or should I say likely, getting my P1's replacement from SE. Apparently it is Android. If badassmam confirms something like this it means it is is on its was, he never is wrong.

So, for me, it is goodbye Rachael and hello 3" screen, QWERTY keypad, 5mp camera, touchscreen and hopefully a Snapdragon processor. Now that sounds brilliant and I'm waiting till February 2010 for MWC to see this phone. If it doesn't show up or lacks somewhat then Rachael still is an option.

I hope it materialises.

Yep, the more the merrier!
Welcome indeed.

@wanqs

I saw what you were talking about about that Abhu Dhabi race track. Probably the most beautiful race track available, I find the country unreal in the sense that it is too beautiful to be true- at least the cities are like that for me.

Pity about Hamilton retiring though. Congrats to Vettel.
