Reviews of the midrange 10 and 10 Plus have been poor, its clear that many compromises were made resulting in two phones that won't sell at all. S10 pre orders are great because Sony isn't available so I see this being another poor sales year.
I saw some details and drawings for the planned IFA devices and thought 'f**k this bull***t'. JUST MAKE 1 BIG PREMIUM, 1 NORMAL SIZE AND 1 GENUINELY COMPACT - ALL HIGH END AND CALL IT A YEAR. Not one person will buy the 'midrange Compact' without the 855. |

Both got 7.0 from iPhone Arena.
I was expecting lower score.
Kinda weird because both are different on the inside, Plus does everything better.
Similar score of last year.
They gave much lower score to Samsung A 2018 series.
Not fair these rumors of 10+ in Japan with better cpu.

50,000 Yen makes Xperia 4 a midrange so probably going to have weak internals. I've had the Xperia 10 all day and it's dog turd, a £150 phone priced at £350. I sold my pristine XZ1 today for £145, there is not one single benefit of having the 10 over the XZ1. |

Phones below $340 of other brands lack some stuff.
They put better cpu and more ram , but remove other.
I agree that 10/10+ should have more 500mAh and better cam sensors, but at least both have stuff all midranges should have : gorilla 5, bluetooth 5, nfc, usb C and ram ddr4.
Of course both should be equal, just different sizes.
It is ridiculous to see phones with SD660/675 or P60/70 with micro usb, gorilla 3 ( not specified to hide it is old version) , no nfc and ddr3 ram.

Sony says the imx586 was made to give better results than regular 12MP.
Sony Mobile says they choose 12MP because than can give better results than using 48MP.

Bonus: someone posted on internet that would be a banner of Pixel 4. It says best display with highest among all phones. Of course if they bring 4K all OVERKILL comments on internet will quickly vanish.

Can someone explain me this? My first year at schools was 1992. I remember to hear teacher say from BLUE, RED and YELLOW you can get all other colors. But pixel is Green, not yellow.
Something else, are pixels 2D or 3D?

10 is 6" + 15.5cm 10+ is 6.5" + 16.7 cm.
Must be near 18cm.

Paint color and light color are not the same. Like when you mix all rby you'd get black but on pixel if all are on at full you'd get white. That is why oleds consume less power when used black heavy.

My doubt is if the pixel is a square or cube.
Doubt 2:
Xperia 1 = flagship premium
Xperia 2 = might be regular flagship
Xperia 4 = might be midrange for Japan
Where is the number 3?
