I really think those pics are with old sensor. A czech site (http://mobil.idnes.cz/) claimed they were the first to get hold of C905 with new sensor, and that was in august. I can see that some of the flickr photos dates back to atleast july. We´ll see

I like Marcus pics, especially colors but what the hell happened to sharpening algorithms? even Bayer interpolation is no excuse. sharpening is working fine in K800 and C902, so give use more sharpness

If you refer to his daylight pictures they are from early august and even earlier with a pretty old FW by current standards.

Eldar has already compared them

http://www.mobile-review.com/review/samsung-m8800.shtml

Pics from Inno8 a little bit better than PIXON M8800

i think the pics from the innovate look dark .. just my opinion

edit: on 2nd thought i think innovate pics do look better .. but dark hehe

the c905 comes pre-installed free 3-month trial version of Wayfinder Navigator.

http://www.wayfinder.com/?id=1328&cid=9265

So after the free subscription runs out, you will have to pay for your own subscription if you want to keep using wayfinder.

I really hope wayfinder comes out with preloaded maps (doesnt need internet to run, or any fees besides buying the maps or downloading them) on JM2E running phones, currently preloaded maps are only available for smart phones.

This seems very unclear to me. On the other hand it says on that site "Download maps of your choice to your phone through mywayfinder.com". Does that mean you may download maps to your computer and then transfer them to the phone memory card?

I agree with raidersky, the pictures need a little more sharpening. but the colors are way more natural than innov8(too dark) or even pixon(too bright)

but the night pics were incredibly awesome!

Depends on the phone, right now only on smartphones can you download and save maps to your memory card, with java running phones you download the map of your route as needed, therefore you need an internet connection to you navigation at all times.

Quoted from Wayfinder on C905

Wayfinder Earth (available through free download)

* Free maps of the world
* Store maps locally on your C905 Cyber-shot™ phone
* Share your location on Facebook with Wayfinder LocateMate
* See your movements with Wayfinder MyLocation @ Google Earth
* Free download at wfearth.com from your phone browser.

C905 isn't a smartphone. (What is a smartphone? )

Not so much need sharpening as just turn the compression back a little!! (which will bring back some of the natural detail)

Obviously from those night pics noise is not so much an issue that they need to compress the images madly.

But still those pics are impressive, especially the night pics.

That's f&@*ing insane quality.

This is way better than any of those previous day shots we've seen. WAY better. EXIF info claims it's SE C905 though. Is this new firmware photo?

If this is what's possible with C905 the competition may as well give up right now
