OK, so that screen is way bigger than 2.8 inches. (Assuming that's supposed to be an accurate size comparison, which it may not be if Paris is supposed to be slightly smaller than the P1.)

@icaka
No need to state it as unconfirmed. And Bella can be removed as it was the one with the old hardware

@Mizzle
Can you estimate if the display used in Paris is bigger than 2,8''?

No, but sealover's concept is - not surprisingly - way over the line.

I suppose that's good. I've had a phone with a 2.8 inch screen before, and I personally do not need anything bigger than that. It's difficult to operate one-handed otherwise.
Thanks for all the info, Mizzle. |

THe size of the screen has to be something like 3.5"
This would help in rendering the webpages and videos much better.
Also if SE would allow customization of the home screen, larger screen would help to in corporate more info.
Most of the good PDA s have more than 2.8 " screen and 3.5 " wud be fantastic.
Even apple iphone boasts of a 3.5" screen and i think p910i and p990i had big screen of this margin |

@ mizzle
Do you know if the p5 would be released in the US?
I think they need something like that over there cos their whole life seem to revolve around the iphone,which in my opinion is just hype and marketing |

I was using P910 and P990 for a quite long time. Now I have P1 and to tell you the truth, P1 display is quite sufficient. I know it's only 2.6''... P990 had 2.8'' and I thought there will be very big difference when I was changing to P1. I was wrong. I'd be happy if P5i display was something like 3''.

While I agree the iPhone is hype, the P5i would never be released here under an operator. It's wayyy too good for any American carrier. The average American consumer is still stuck in 2003, cell phone-wise.
Though, I fully expect it to be quadband (850 Mhz has been featured on every 2008 SE phone and many 2007 phones in some shape or form), so in that sense it will be "released" here, though it will be up to people to import it.
