hi peoples, i have updated to R1J and also completed the EROM update with WOTAN Server, all very easy in the end. however my major complain is still how the phone hangs and reboots its self if you use the phone book function with the SE HCB-700 car kit. this is so annoying!!!!
SE australia are being very ignorant of the problem too!
Why cant things just work. my friends K750 works fine with his hcb-700 car kit.

yes i am very much hoping this too!!!
also with R1J, when i do a phone book search not all the carachters work...ie
if i start typing in JOS, looking for Josh...
It only stays at the start of 'J' names. so i am going back to R1E. why cant SE just get it right for once!!!

The multi-character look-up issue, if I remember, occurs only in certain regional firmwares.

That's not your EROM that's your firmware version.

and 1 more thing.

when u put ur headset, all the alerts should be directed to ur earphones, right? but mine doesnt do that. sometimes, it becomes silent when a text or a call comes in. and sometimes, its played on the speaker

hope aremaboy, sappy, and all of u guys can help me out.

That also depends if silent mode is turned on, cause if you plug in your headset put it on silent the signals come trough the headset not the speaker, hope this helps.

@bronxdude:
So, is your K800i dead now or what? Your R1CF001 is the old f/w. Why don't you update to R1ED001 via SEUS or FOTA? That fixes most troubles..
