I was sorry to learn about what you did to your handset.
Basically you have deleted the identity of your handset. This, of
course is not covered by the warranty.
If it was to be sent to Samsung's repair centre to be repaired, we would
be obliged to then send it to your network for their software to be
flashed onto the handset.
I would suggest it may be faster and more cost effective for you to have
your network do this directly for you.
They will have to completely reinstall the handset's software and
generate a new identity for the handset, which will also give it a new
IMEI number.
