No surprises there for me wanqs.

I've known about this since the N900 was announced. Eldar actually has it and wrote about it during the preview of the N900.

Yep. If you look at Eldars phones in the M-R forum the N920 is one of them,i think anyone following the Maemo5/N900 or M-R forums knew about N920 from the day N900 was annouced lol, NOKIA realy need to do something about these leaks, they are like a CITI Golf Velo left unlocked in Hillbrow right now.

Sometimes I think it's these company's strategy GUCCI. A leak here and there to wet appetites and keep interest going.

Is any of you guys using the charcoal DSTV decoder, the older one with ample connectivity at the back? The model number is 720i.

I'm asking cause after I upgraded the software in August the remote control takes a while before registering on the decoder. Everything worked flawlessly before the new software upgrade. My brother also seems to be experiencing similar problems with the same decoder.

Good evening folks. Hope everyone's still good. Thought I'd post some pics taken with my phone's camera since I haven't done it in a long time.
This is one an ad shoot for Grolsch...seems aimed at the North American market since we're not big into Grolsch on this side(not the best of beers IMO)

And this is one of my favourite streets in Cape Town...there's always something poppin off although I should say I haven't partied there in a while/

Just spent almost 2hourz watching Big Brother Africa Revolution. Keri Hilson was their special guest for just 2hours, the lucky buggers!! Shes so dam fine and down to earth, was realy good also had Gravity running, did a Keri Hilson search just to see what other S.Africans were saying, every 5mins there was a flood of Tweets lol, Gravity still seems to be the best and most useful Twitter client for S60.

@ Hobbster:
Not sure if you've seen this, taken from The Register:

'Apple breaks jailbreakers' hearts with iPhone 3GS patch
We're gonna lock you up and throw away the key

14th October 2009

Get expert answers on deploying VoIP into your business

Apple has reportedly tweaked the way its iPhone is coded in an effort to freeze out users who jailbreak the company's handsets.

It's understood that when Apple ships new iPhone 3GS phones, they'll come loaded with a "bootrom" that defends against the 24kpwn exploit used by the Dev-Team and individuals to jailbreak artificial restrictions built into the popular smartphone.

Indeed, the Dev-Team warned iPhone users last week to hang fire on installing the latest iPhone OS.

More recently, the group's hacker MuscleNerd has confirmed that for the time being a normal jailbreak of the phone would be impossible, following the loss of the 24kpwn exploit.

Users jailbreak their handsets in order to install unsigned Apple Apps on their iPhone. The Cupertino-based company has watched world+dog enjoy the exploit for the best part of this year.

But the next batch of iPhone 3GS units to arrive in-store are expected to come with code that prevents the jailbreak.

All of which will probably lead to another exploit being discovered, although with each Apple patch, the jailbreaks have turned from a gush to a trickle.

As we reported on Monday, one of the world's foremost iPhone hackers has released software for jailbreaking the latest firmware released for the Apple smartphone.

Geohot's Blackra1n lets Windows-only users jailbreak iPhone OS 3.1.2 on all iPhone and iPod Touch models, regardless of their hardware generation. The tool, which in 30 seconds allows handset users to run software not authorised by Apple, doesn't work on Macs.

It's not clear if that exploit will also have been patched in the latest batch of iPhone 3GS units. But Apple seems to have won the battle, if not the war, against jailbreakers for now.'
