Well now...THIS makes randomuser's comments about Samsung security rather interesting
This should be seen as a compliment to Sony, someone actually bothering to find a security flaw in one of their phones, this is usually done to big sellers, iPhone, iPad, Galaxy range, Galaxy Note range etc etc....

Really? actually I use my phone without security lock so I'm Ok with that Have my password to enter some important apps (SMS, Album...) though (perfect App protector)
Very happy with THE Z, it's the best experience in mobile by Sony up to now (for me). So smooth and fast!
Recently removed all the protectors from both sides.. it feels even better in hands

In an even simpler step, all you have to do is install skype, run it and there you go, the lock screen is bypassed(at least in T) . Tbh I was expecting an issue like this to come up with Z ever since I got my T. I have always been disappointed by the software team in and now Sony. They really need to pick it up or else the bad name will seal their fate.

I never use lock screen security lock i find it annoying. I only use my sim card pin that's all. Cannot be doing with doing patterns or numbers everytime i wanna unlock my screen too time consuming i would rather just flick to unlock

it's not just Sony... Almost every flagship out there suffers from these kind of issues.
Iphone 4s/5 and gs3 also suffer from similar bugs!!!
U can't blame just sony |

But they are usually fixed almost immediately. I had reported this bug on T with ics and then with jellybean. ITs been 5 months and no fix from Sony and security bugs are not something which should be taken lightly. Every other phone has bugs in it, but just not as prominent and easy to find as in Xperia flagships. I am not blaming them, but its something they need to work on. Their brand awareness is rising in smart phone and so is their sales and reliability, they simply cannot afford a bad name anymore.

I went yesterday to have my Xperia Z... but it was out of stock !!
I went to the local Sony Mobile dealer and it was out of stock, they said I can find it in a nearby store, so I went there but the guy said it's out of stock since last week !!
The phone came last week and finished Saturday, less than 10 days for my small country means very small quantity I guessed maybe 200 one, but I asked and it was 750 phones !! damn I was out of my country and couldn't take it in time !!
but the good news the girl in the dealer said theres a very high chance that the new patch will come next 1 or 2 weeks and it should be the LTE version also ( the first patch was 3G ), the sad part is it will be only in White color

I've been using this phone for almost a week, and I'm really happy with it
I have one question (for now ): It seems i can't find an option to transfer the app's data into SD card, can anyone tell me how to do it? |

Jellybean does not allow transferring apps to SD.
Of course it does. It just allows to move to the already mounted one, not the external one.

Oh my god, so sorry... I didn't know about your condition.
I've seen both screens in person and the One's is way ahead of the XZ's.
worf is the most fanboy around here. He defends SONY even if they put crappy screens on retail units. Probably a 12 year's old kid or just an insider from Sony. The best you can do it's ignore him.
O, the Sammie boy here again
Take it easy kid, i only said that my unit has very good screen and i think that Sony praise for it.
Second kid, i also mention that he has a faulty screen, last time he yelling like child bad this and bad that.
Now, take a candy an be brave.

in case display quality really matters to you then we’ll say again that the Butterfly and Find 5 were the best devices, and they may be even friendlier to your budget than an Xperia Z for example.
