Scroll further down and see under customization. Mine says EUROPE_3. If yours says the same, you may not be able to update. |

Mine was EU_1 and i've just completed the update using my PC... Just wondering whether anyone had any ideas as to whether SE will make the update process possible on the Mac... |

Can anyone on O2 UK try this to determine if its network related?
Get the problems with both Wap gprs browsing and mms |

Okay, "update" drivers installed (had to round up an XP machine, w2k no go), then I run the Update Service and it tells me there's no USB cable attached.
Everytime I start up the phone with 'c' held down, it's a Flash drive for like a second, then goes into regular boot-up mode. (And wants more drivers, which I don't have installed.) Is this expected?
I don't have the PC Suite installed either. Just the Update Drivers. Total nightmare. Any pointers?

I've just updated my Orange UK K750i to R1J002. I can't believe the firmware for an Orange-branded handset is available before others! The process seemed a little tricky at first, but after installing the update service driver, everything went smoothly.
I love the new menu icons - they look so much nicer. I can't believe they've actually changed these in Orange firmware! The speaker is definitely louder, which is great. I hope the inaccurate battery indicator is sorted too. I've found a few other niggles that have been fixed. Once I've had a proper play, I'll be able to find other things. I'm very happy.

@ schmeeve
I'm not positive, but I think you need to install the normal USB cable drivers first as well.
