Hi guys, a question to those of you who own z800s (z800 flashed v800s). Even better if you own a symbian too:

1. can you sort the organiser functions (calendar, note, tasks) into folders like on P series phones? that would be cool

2. how do the mp3 playlist functions work? can you export winamp playlists if the mp3s are in the same relative folder (to the playlists) on the phone as on the pc? that would be awesome

basically peeps I am attracted by 3's offers so I was gonna change my p910i for z800i. however the organiser on the p910 rules my life =) I have got used to it and I use the folders so it would take some adjustment if it were the case.

and the playlists, the lack of those is the worst thing about p910 IMHO

any advice/opinions will be appreciated

I tried the Z800i out in the 3 shop today. Does anyone from Australia know if Vodafone will release the Z800i or V800 with their launch of 3G in September?

The display is quite nice, but I would like to compare it to the Sharp GX25 or GX30 screens. The colour external display would be very handy because it displays caller ID (the dialler's number and photo). I didn't play around with the camera too much though, but I'm sure there are enough camera reviews out there. The looks of the phone are awesome as well, although I like the black and orange V800s. It doesn't feel like you're carrying around an old piece of junk (yet). I personally like the Japanese buttons over the English-only ones, but in the end it doesn't matter (unless you want to text in Japanese).

The keypad buttons aren't big and feel like they are lower than the silver surface when you press them. It would feel better if the buttons were extruded out more. However, the buttons on the Z800 are better than a lot of phones I've tried. On top of that, although animated, the menu doesn't lag badly when you press buttons fast, and when SMSing it picks up all the buttons you've pressed. This will let you SMS without looking at the screen (that's if you don't use T9) provided you don't make input mistakes.

For the little time I was able to play with the Z800i, I must say overall it's a very nice phone. It's got the looks and features of a new phone, and it's not hard to use.

Pallister: What kind of deskstand are included in the Z800i package, is it DSS-25 or is it only the DCU-11 cable?
( if it is a deskstand, is it written DSS-25 under the deskstand? )

takk for svar
