T610 problems in Malaysia |

I don't understand why everyone thinks, R1L wouldn't help for the bluetooth issue. I have a week23/R3A/China-T610, which I received with Firmware R1A081. Using my HBH-60 was impossible with that software. After an update to R1L013 I can report the following:
1.) Crickling noise has been heavily improved. It's not perfect but it works, even can I use voice-dialling now.
2.) I nearly couldn't connect the devices before. Even when I got them connected, connection was lost pretty soon. I didn't have any problems with R1L.
So I'm asking what I am doing wrong that I think its worth let the phone update.
Greets,

Guys, I'm thinking of getting a T610. The cheapest AP set in the market I've seen so far is RM1310 from a shop in PJ, which claims that the AP distributor is in Amcorp, with the name "Nefyon" or something that sounds like that. The original SE set is about RM1500 now right? Is it really worth getting an original SE set? The only issue with AP is their warranty is slower and they charge for the software upgrades right? Anyone knows any better price for original sets? |

Dude, I just bought one with Chinese input for RM1420 from the same shop lah. The non-chinese is going for RM1370 only! Amazing how the price is dropping... wonder if it'll go below 1k within a couple of weeks. scary.... |

Are you sure that's a valid T-Choice set??? They do sell AP set as well. If it's for real, that's a good news actually, for those who have yet to get it
What's the batch number of your phone and battery (both can be in different batch)?
1st. 03W24 Chinese Input with 03W24 Battery
2nd. 03W25 Chinese Input with 03W15 Battery < Why the battery is so old!!!

Yup, T-Choice with original warranty card. Other counters are selling Rm1500 above. My set info:
Handset 0325
Batt 0324.
Mine is with Chinese input 'coz the ones without Chinese input all come in 0320 latest. RM50 more for CHinese input. Do u guys know if there are other differences between the chinese and non chinese besides the input method? Although I don't understand chinese, I got the chinese one 'coz it's newer. I'm wondering now if the Chinese set has less free memory or maybe some other features has been removed to accomodate the chinese input feature. |

Do post back if you guys found any cheaper shops. Planning to get another one. A very nice phone indeed.
I have some problem with my set though compare to the 1st one.
1. If you notice properly, in cam mode, many complain there's a white faint line across the screen. Point the camera lens to a black paper or your black wallet, you will see it if it's there. Parachute pic also clearly shows that. No problem with the 1st set though.
2. the back top part near the mirror attachment hole is not cover properly. I found it's slightly 'pop out'. I worry it might get losen over the time as reported by some users.
3. Colours are uneven, perhaps because of the back lighting. This happens to all T610 and most obvious with dark-coloured themes or background.
I wonder if you all have the same problems? |

So far I don't see these problems on mine. However I do have a problem trying to send SMS via BlueTooth using my Tungsten. Anyone has a working program that can be used? |

SE-Fans, is your version R1L? I am going to get one from Ericsserve, don't trust Sg. Wang so much though they are definitely cheaper. Anybody know Ericsserve's contact number and to whome can I speak to? Want to check the availability first before going, hate Amcorp Mall parking.
Anybody kind enough to list down the things we need to check on the phone upon buying? Lazy to go back if bought a defective one, my luck isn't that good most of the time... hehe |
