Fan renders are so "funny". They always draw phone super slim, like 6,5mm. But phone has 1/1.3" cam without bump. Screen with hidden front cam , but with 4K resolution. 100W charging paired with sony charging features (that slow down charging). |

Hi guys, glad to see some OGs here like Rac and Toni!
Is there any talk about Sony working on a foldable phone? I think that would be the logical next step after the 1 Mk series... we are into the fifth gen Mk series and it is getting a little stale... I hope Sony will base their future flagships on the concept of foldables...
Their Xperia is already approaching foldable phones' prices, I can't imagine how expensive Sony's foldable phone would be like.
With that being said, nah... That's a bad decision for them unless they can change the game by doing something others haven't done before. Like, something truly innovative.
It's hard to survive when the market is filled with Samsung and Apple, with Chinese brands getting their flagship phones sold in a lot more markets.

Xperia 10 V will have Snapdragon 6 Gen1 or better, supporting Wi-FI 6

I think foldables are the way to go because the market is not as saturated as with standard phones. Yes, they're gonna be expensive but that is why each flagship should come in standard or foldable form so users can still have a top phone if they are content with the standard form or they are not willing to pay extra for foldable. |

Find way to slap the 24-200mm of rx100 m7 inside pro-i and ppl will kill to have this. Whatever is necessary like curved exmor, thinner lenses (also less elements) .... just do it. |

Sony needs to announce ace4 and mark 5 now in february. Then bring pro-i in mid august. It is beyond necessary. |

I was really looking to compare 1 IV to my PRO-I this weekend but freakin pirates have poached my package because don't-giva-a-damn mailman has left it in the front hall on top of my mailbox, took a pic and marked it as Proof of Delivery. That's London for ya. |

That's what I'm thinking as well. I live in a next to last building on a dead end road that has only ten units. I doubt it's any of the random bypassers or even worse neighbours. |

Thinner lenses will affect the quality of the optical zoom, there is a physics threshold - if you want near 1" sensors; their co-related. Curved glass screen please no.

I mean curved sensor. It reduces thickness of modules.
In my country, when you buy something online they ring the bell, if nobody is home they come later. No way the package is left in front of the home. If you live in condo, they leave it with the doorman. |

Picked up a Xperia 5 iv for £400, brand new. It feels identical to my Xperia 5 ii. Even Android 13 feels the same as 12, dynamic theming and the design is very underwhelming. Not experiencing any heat issues. Its very familiar but incredibly boring. I don't know if Android is becoming too stale, certainly Xperia feels like it. Perhaps a gaming phone or a Nothing phone is the next stop. |

Using xperia android 7.1.1 for years was way better than motorola android 12. Screen recording is hidden, not through power button, the wifi/4G(5G) on/off together is so crap. I hate google photos.
Older androids were much better and easier to use. |

I would absolutely love to see a gaming phone. the Xperia Play was a half baked attempt really. They could do so much better if they put the effort in.
