google translate:
"findings
The device will be available in September , the price has not yet spoken , I think, in Russia it will be something like 30 000, can be more expensive. What we have in fact ? We have a very interesting smartphone , by and large, unique . I have the utmost respect for the efforts of the mobile division Sony, apparently, not so long ago showed Z, not so long ago were a new design concept , and has been in front of me lies Z1 - if he were to make a jump at once in a couple of generations. Yes, it is similar to Z, but only in general terms . A much better display, better design, better camera, plus a lot of pleasant things . This magnetic connector for charging, and made another speaker, and an open 3.5mm , and all sorts of add- in interface - and the lack of restrictions for the user, I 'm talking about the microSD, and even though the same radio.
With great pleasure we use now Z Ultra, after the announcement more than once or twice a re-read your first glance, saw the pictures on the official website of the product, anxious to get the gadget for testing - at one time the same desire caused some Sony Ericsson. Now I will just wait for Sony Xperia Z1. I think this is one of the best smartphones with Android at the moment." |

These benchmark results are beyond anything I've expected!
Now there's no excuse, with this camera and beefed up SoC we should have 1080p@60 fps video recording!
I believe 4K is also possible but there's the ROM issue (although not if it could encode in H.265).

I expected better results from a 20.7 MP sensor and a G lens. Hopefully Sony can improve the picture quality with software updates. |

Is it same old, same old when it comes to Sony and their mobile phone cameras?
GSMArena didn't say many good things about the camera so far.
a monkey could take a photo with the XZ1 and nobody would believe a monkey took it
Monkey is what monkey does - how can this be possible- next they'll be posting on this forum
but we all know it was a Sony Xperia Z1 - somebody please tell me that this phone is not Superior to anything inferior on the market today |

ok I'll bite
Screen worse than Ultra - the inference is that the Ultra screen was bad and the Z1 is not as good - your command of English deserves what you get here, I have seen the Ultra screen and heard a very (normally biased) review saying that the Ultra is as good as anything out there and maybe even the best depending on what you need in a smartphone screen
My personal opinion is the Ultra is the best screen I have ever seen on a phone- I have not had the Z1 in my hand so I reserve comment until I do, but I'm expecting it to be even better
Lets get some official reviews going because all this baseless nonsense here is getting a bit boring

I don't know why everyone cares about viewing angles, I don't, it's better that people can't see your screen at an angle, as long as it's good head on I don't see what the problem is really.
Z screen has not only poore view angles, but very low contrast and dull colors. Orange color goes to yellow instantly... I don`t want same screen on Z1 after great Ultra screen.
From Z1 preview "The 1080p screen, previously a weak point of Sony smartphones, has been improved to the Triluminos variety, already seen on the Xperia Z Ultra, which should ideally bring more vivid colors and better sharpness and contrast. In reality, the screen still lags behind, say, Samsung Galaxy S4′s Super AMOLED display — tilt it a little and you’ll see the blacks go gray and the whites go darker — but it’s definitely sharp and beautiful to look at."

I know what you have in your hand and just below they are clouding your vision - can you see them @-@ |

another interesting fact - the Z and Zu camera file size was about 1-2m - the Z1 camera file is upwards of 6m - and that is fine by me, that alone tells me Sony has been listening |
