The jabra headset isn't really small. That picture is deceptive.
Here is a better pic.

No disrespect to Jabbra but how in the world can you use that when wearing glasses. Some of us do, you know.
Tested the HBH-30. Very good headset and spectacle friendly
Still have to wait 45days for my BlueSpoon. It'll be obsolete by the time Expansys get a batch order through.
Only joking Jan

@Bajie: Good point! I've been lurking here checking if the BSpoon is finally out. I was considering the Jabra, although they say the BSpoon is still superior in terms of noise cancellation and clarity.

Oh, and I do wear glasses. So there goes my considering the Jabra.

Thats exactly my problem when I tried the Nokia,..I wear glasses sometimes,..and it was "hell" to try and get the Nokia on.
When I finally got it right,..it sat okay.

HBH-30 sits better,..a lot easier, even with glasses on.
"One-hand-operation".

Jabra's isnt small,..it actually looks bigger than the Nokia.
The Nokia headset isnt really that big in real life,..it looks a lot bigger on pictures.

With Bluespoon You can wear glasses like Elton John if you like, hehe. Doesnt really matter One-hand-operation too !

I don't like the Jabra too much... looks too bottom heavy. Wait, the current BlueSpoon doesn't use bone-conduction technology?

And from anyone in Nextlink... are there full-duplex wired handsfree headsets for the Ericsson mobile phones (3v generations, T28, T68, etc) that use bone-conduction technology? If so, how much are they? How do they look? Thanks!

INVISIO >
Theres no "new" news on the release-date,..I still do not have a specific date.
Still the same I'll write once I have it.

BTW: the Tiscali-team in Tour de France are using the Invisio

General info :
People also asked about ordering,..they can also order Bluespoon directly from Nextlink here in Denmark.

I just tried contacting Nextlink directly about buying a (privately, ie. retail).

A "sales and marketing coordinator" replied that it would be ready for deliveries in August, but I could order right away.

Considering that ie. Expansys has had preorders for a long time, I would think they would get it before any direct order given now, so they might still be in July?

Anyway she went on to say that mass production was scheduled for september, and click-on-covers wouldn't appear before then.

I'm not sure about units bought before that I think I will have to ask again about that.

The official Suggested Retail Prices, valid until 31/8 are (Excl VAT):
DKK 1.996,-
NOK 2.079,-
SEK 2.529,-
GBP 170,00
EUR 273,70
USD 246,50
YEN 31.758

It looks like Expansys uses the UK list-price..
The Danish price works out to EUR 270, but we have 25% VAT, so it definately wont be cheaper
Oh, and they have a 30 day return policy, but that might be for Denmark only... Might still convince that buying locally was easier - Their office is 15min away

I can upload the product/price list (pdf) somewhere for ref. if someone wants to see, but it doesnt say anything new besides the above prices.

Got a fast reply. units bought today wont have exchangable covers.

Units produced later *may* gain that ability, but that is not scheduled at all yet The engineers are looking into it.

The productionmodel coming out soon,..will not have exchangeable covers,..I also wrote this a long time ago

Production is running,..as with most stuff, you start up with a smaller number of units,..and then you increase it day by day,...thats what we're doing too It all depends on capacity.
Then of course you set a sort of goal,..saying that within this period of time, production should be xxxxxxxx numbers of units per month every month.
This goal will be achived in late august/start september.

Untill that time, smaller amounts will hit the streets,...and no,..that doesnt mean 4 bluespoons, hehe. Its quite big numbers

A lot have already been preordred at Expansys,..so of course they will be getting their units as fast as possible

Well,..people wanted a picture of Bluespoon,..so here's one of me wearing it

(I know that its not as "good-looking" as our beautiful girl-model, hehe)
You just have to live with that

Jan

Any chance of a picture of the other side of the BS so I can see how it attaches to the ear.

Failing that, a picture of the model would be nice

Well,..I dont have it with me right now,..so I cant take any pictures.

Someone else asked too about this,..I'll see what I can do

Its got a small exchangeable bendable spring/coil,..actually comes with different springs in the package, soft and hard
Besides the spring theres a moulded-piece with the speaker, sitting in the opening of the ear,...its plastic of course,..and you will also get those soft pads that comes with ordinary headset,...some feel comfortable with the plastic piece,..others would like the soft pads,..sooo we do both, hehe
Small soft pads will be in the package too.

It sits very good,...doesnt hurt the ear in any way,..and You almost dont feel it at all.
