Which one would be UK firmware ?
Generic World 1 or Generic World 2 ?
Also. On Davinci.
On the payment section. Which do i need to select if I want to debrand my P1i (20 Euro or 50 Euro) ?
And can SEUS be used after using Davinci ?
I've never used Davinci before. Only ever used Wotanserver but they don't support the P1i

I have always happily chosen GW1 (but I don't really know the difference).
For the debrand you will need EUR 20,-
And SEUS will work afterwards and recognize the phone as GW1 (unless anything wents wrong) |

Thats great. Think I'll give it a try after work. Just need confirming which firmware to use for the UK now.

I got my P1i unlocked and it says "US Version" on the box and when I try to update nothing happens... it just sits there.
Phone: CXC 162037 R9G007
Bluetooth CXC 162143 R1C
Organizer: CXC162108 R6D23
CDA: CDA162024/66 R2A
Currently my shutter sound can't be turned off. Is the davinci method the only way to change my CDA? |

I tried to update just to get rid of some problems which may be associated with restoring a previous backup and it seems that there is a problem with SEUS. It goes to the point which says P1i UPDATE YOUR PHONE and it gets stuck. It doesn’t gives me any option to do anything. |

mate! you got exactly what i experienced! after flashing using davinci to world generic/1 i thought something went wrong, this is the 2nd day i try using SEUS, but i got stuck sorry but indeed it's to my relieve that i am not the only one |

This is the exact problem I have when I try to update... and I didn't change anything on my P1i, it's completely stock from the merchant. =( |

Okay, first post here and sadly it has to be a "me too!".
I just got the P1i from 02 in the UK on Monday ... and 2nd (replacement one) arrived today!
Current issues:
1) WLAN scanning or connect resets the phone - I'm hoping from what I've read here that a firmware update will sort that out
2) Can't update the firmware, exactly the same symptoms as you; update gets to the screen saying "update your phone" but no buttons to proceed.
I ran SEUS on the same laptop, same USB cable, with a K800i and this worked fine.
What I did notice is that plugging the P1i into a new USB port starts the install hardware process but it only mentions CDC and master/slave ports, nothing about the SEMC Flash driver (is this needed for P1i or is it just other phones that need it).
When I plugged the K800i though it did show "SEMC ..." driver.
So I wondered if it's not picking up the flash driver and something in SEUS therefore can't proceed to just gives up.
Anyone know what vendor/product IDs should be showing up when you have the "C" button held down for an update? I was thinking of sticking the USB cable into my Linux box and asking it what shows up - maybe the updated SEUS has missed some IDs or something simple like that?
All that said - can anyone out there confirm that an 02 (CDA 162024/9 R7A) can even be updated anyway? Or do I need to do something to get it unbranded before being able to get R6E30?

i think u'd need to wait the firmware from o2 official, unbranding it will strip off your warranty i believe, anyhow, i flashed mine using davinci team

heys guys needed info..i tried to updatemy p1i after heard there was an firware update..but my phone details before trying an update and afterremains the same:

is the firware out does it say anything in the SE website?
