I'm sure I'll hang around here too, I still like SE's phones and there's always the next upgrade to think about! Maybe the P3i, or whatever comes next, will tempt me back..
In the meantime, once I have my V1615, I'll certainly be posting in this thread some more! |

Boinng, trust me you've made a very very good choice.
I went over to the Vario III from an N95 (worst phone Ive ever had!)
The VIII is the absolute dogs ******* Im a devout Mac user, but even I think the Windows phone is brilliant.
Which forum site are you gonna go to? |

Probably all of them I don't get to try my new phone till the 25th though (the upgrade is a birthday present) so I'm in limbo at the moment...
One thing I've been wondering about, and not seen any details on - what's browsing like in Windows Mobile? Is the mobile version of IE any good, or are there any recommended substitutes? Can it handle things like flash video (eg Youtube)?
Here's another question - can you schedule times for email downloading in pocket Outlook? As in, checking the POP server at various set times each day?

Boinng, I've slagged off my N95 A LOT! But, in terms of surfing, the Kiaser is incredibely slow compared to the N95. Even in HSDPA mode!

hmm... that doesn't sound good. Don't suppose you've ever compared it to an M600i running Opera (what I'm used to at the moment)?

Never mind, I've been reading up on it a bit more today and it seems there's a fair choice when it comes to browsers - if I find IE isn't up to the job, there's Opera available for a few quid (apparently much faster) and even Minimo, which is a Windows Mobile version of Firefox.. there's some interesting things on the horizon too - such as a possible WM version of Safari..
I've missed all this choice and hackability with UIQ3 over the last year... Symbian really messed up when they made everything ultra-secure, and killed off most of the third-party development (at least for UIQ).

Yes, they are. In fact, I have heard that some of the larger Orange stores received their first deliveries of the phone over the weekend and are selling tghem now. |

Hi!
I have read in other forums
" it's missing the cool black htc home screen.
For some reason orange see fit to remove loads of things (MSN Live Messenger, Remote Desktop to name a few) and change the home screen to their own version. "

It could turn out to be vapourware, but this seems promising - http://msmobiles.com/news.php/6779.html |

Does anyone know of a way that I can get my regular POP email "pushed" to my phone? Any freebie services? I found emoze, but opinion seems mixed on that - it's not really proper push... what I'd like is basically a cheap/free way of having my own exchange server run for me. Moon on a stick? |
