Hmm... But he mentioned that his read messages get automatically stored in the Saved Messages folder, so what could be the problem?

@deluded - In K750i, all SAVED SMS messages will go to either: SAVED MESSAGES (SIMCARD) folder or TEMPLATES . . . my query is this . . . my saved messages in the simcard is nearing it's - 100% capacity, if I will be choosing to save it in - TEMPLATES folder next time, can I still view it there? Also, how BIG is the capacity of TEMPLATES folder when saving SMS messages, I mean will this go to the INTERNAL memory or EXTERNAL one Thanks !

Hey Jo! Glad to see ya back here. Hmm... You mean to say that your SMSes don't get saved in your Inbox folder? Or is that full as well? Because in my K750, my messages are automatically stored in the Inbox folder, and if it's full, the phone will prompt me to delete some messages, no way around that as far as I know.

you mean the screen? or overall? Yesterday I had both phones in my hands, mine and mi friend's. The screen on K750 does look very much pale, but alright. But the W810 feels lighter, and the plastic just gives it a sensation of being a bit cheap. On the other hand, the K750 feels very robust Both are very good but the K750 is for me

@deluded - I'm not sure dude . . . everytime I will have to SAVE some incoming messages it gives me TWO options where to store those: (1) SAVED MESSAGES and (2) TEMPLATES . . . when I am to choose the SAVED MESSAGES, there's a note that appears on the screen that says: SIM CARD memory N% FULL . . . . so, at one time I tried saving the SMS message in the TEMPLATES . . . but there was NO space percentage LEFT being mentioned . . . Think I should stick a post in here as now got a K750i... in fact shortly 3!

Got my main one, one I've stuck a new LCD and cam ribbon in, and getting one which just needs ear speaker looking at!

Still a great phone, kinda prefer it over my old W810i as like the cam shutter, lens doesn't get damaged.

Nice to see ya here! Wow, three K750s? You must be so lucky! Yup, I definitely like the camera lens cover on my K750i, it does a good job of protecting my K750's camera lens.

@Jojo, have you found an answer to your problem? I'm sorry I'm not able to help you out. My messages get stored in the Inbox folder directly and there's no way around it. Is your phone branded by a service provider? Maybe the firmware's different, hence the problem with your messages.

@tranced - Nope . . . and NEVER involved with this: FAR, NEAR or even a STORE - MANAGER . . . software/firmware upgrades, SEUS, SHOES, ZEUS or what, just take the PHONE as . . . IS !

I'll just wait for others who have the SAME problem as mine Again, my dilemma is: ALL my SAVED messages GOES to my SIMCARD, though I was given (2) options where to store it: SAVED MESSAGES or TEMPLATES . . .

Thanks! [addsig]

Heh... I can understand what you mean Jo, I try not to mess around with my phone's software if I can help it, but I think a firmware upgrade is relatively safe. You could get the service centre to do it for you too, if you don't wanna do it yourself. Does your phone have an Inbox folder at all, Jo? I'd find storing my messages on a simcard problematic due to the limited capacity. If you find that a problem too, I'd recommend upgrading the firmware.

Thankyou! I'll probably sell two of the K750is on when (hopefully!) fixed, should make a bit of money on them with any luck!

Yes, I found with my W810i that even if I was careful with it the camera lens was still getting scratches and marks on it, plus I wasn't really using the Walkman on it, so sold it on and decided to use a K750i, pretty much the same phone but a bit cheaper, and it has a camera lens cover!
