personally i think any day now considering if we are to believe the rumors that the phone is going to be offically released in september, the current state it is not ready for the prime time and it will actually hurt se to release the phone with the current firmware.

on another note are any of you having problems with copy and paste and the size of the clipboard. i was typing away on this forum from my phone, it was however not connecting properly so i thought i would turn the phone off and on again, i copied the message that i have already written and placed it in messages and saved it as a draft. when my phone rebotted i went back to the messages copied the text and then logged into esato wheb i pasted it less than half of the txt apprearded. i hate to copy and paste the different sections of the message in the end. anyone experianced this?

does anyone have issues on calendar with the new firmware?

mine does not start occassionally. and keep on stating as busy.

on FC mode ... i cant even end the task and have to power down the phone to restart but the calendar issue is still there after the reset.

on FO mode, at least I can end the calendar task from there.

I've encountered twice that my sms is not being sent but it is being kept in the Outbox.

When I move the sms from the Outbox to the Draft box, I cannot Edit or send the sms and getting a busy sign. I cannot even delete that sms in the Draft box, does not delete that sms by using the three input available the Qwerty keyboard delete button, Delete tab drop down list using stylus and by keypad delete tab, C.

I can't power down the handphone using the power button and have to remove the battery. After rebooting the handphone, I still can't delete that sms in the Draft box.

I've FO my keypad before writing my sms and the Delete tab is still not available from the drop down list sometime.

In the end, I've to do a master reset to delete that sms and in the porcess, I've to reinstall some programmes and redo the setting again.

Have you really tried to hold the power button down for 10-15 sec? It will work like a hard rester no matther how bad the crash is.

@Muzikfreakah

Don't panic - I had the same problem.

Delete the firmware files on your PC at Program Files>Sony Ercisson>Update Serevice>db>137?????>blob_fs and then try again to update again (took me three attempts!)

wow, too bad something went wrong during the update process. maybe you can take it to SE authorized shops. i remembered a friend who updated her k700 and went dead, SE wont accept the unit for repair even its still under warranty. oh well, you can always try.

Hey Jah just read your message now, should I delete the entire folder? or just the contents?

And did your phone screw up during your first few attempts?

@Muzikfreakah

I had the same problem with a 'dead' P990 - just flashing the screen. Had to remove the battery (or you can keep the on/off switch pressed for 10/15 seconds). Replace the battery and try again. It took 3 attempts but managed to flash it and it came back to life
